Pissed off

OK Driving home from picking the kids up we had to wait for a funeral to pass by. Both lanes of traffic stopped a good 5-7 cars deep.
  1. An older lady in a truck slams into the car next to me.
  2. The lady driving the car is half way out of the car screaming before she realizes she didnt put the car in park.
  3. She put the car in park and starts yelling at the old lady "There's a fucking baby in this car!" Her daughter then tells her to move so she could get her daughter out of the car. They baby was in a car seat properly and she is just fine and laughing.
  4. The old lady is very sorry and a little shook up.
  5. They move the cars out of the road at the recommendation of the young mother. (She looked like she either she was in high school or just out of high school and they were in school traffic)
  6. The old lady is looking at her truck trying to see the damage because when she moved it it made a rubbing noise. The lady that she hit is now yelling at her again about how her truck is fine but she just totaled her car. Now I am no expert but usually rear ending someone doesnt total their car. She is pissed off and yelling and cussing.
  7. Thank goodness the old lady got back in her truck and waited there.
  8. While waiting on the police to get there the lady that got hit is on the phone telling someone she was just in a MAJOR accident. (Sigh)

The truck didnt have much damage that you could see but something was definitely rubbing against the tire when she moved it.

The cars bumper was cracked and pushed up. The plastic bumper was also very close to the tire but I dont think touching it. Of course it could have messed up the frame but you cant really see that.

I know that it messed up her car but the old lady was in the accident as too. She didnt mean to hit her car and she didnt know there was a baby in the car and decide to hit it. There is no way she should have been talking to her like that. When I say old lady she was probably in her 70s or close too. The lady she hit was in probably in her 40s. I wanted to hit that lady.

Not To Bad...

This weekend wasn't so bad.
  • Of course Friday stuff was canceled.
  • Saturdays games were also canceled.
  • That only left a Bday party. It was fun but I left the presents at home. They are still here :(
  • We cleaned my bedroom this weekend. It included the closet.
  • I also did the littlest ones room.
  • I threw out a bunch of stuff. I felt bad for the trash man. They picked it all up though. They will have a surprise on Friday!
  • We threw out a chair, a side table bottom and the glass for a coffee table, and the head and foot boards of a set of bunk beds. They all were picked up before the end of the day.
  • Sunday we had a soccer game. They won. :)
  • Monday we went to the doctor. They checked out the kido's broken arm.
  • He got in a little trouble for being to active. It looked good though. The bone is growing over the break. We thought he was going to be able to play the last few games but the doc said even after he gets the cast off he needs to take it easy and that doesn't include soccer for about 4-6 weeks.
  • We had a baseball game last night. It didn't go as well. We lost 6-1. There was drama. There seems to be drama all the time with on coach. He is not from our team though. He sometimes butts in even when no one ask. He isnt a bad guy as far as I can tell though. I just dont always agree with him.
  • One of the kido's is having problems at school. If he get into trouble today I am going to have to go to school with him. Not looking forward to it.

Meanings of words...

As I have gotten older the meanings of words have changed. As I hear my sweet little ones run around and scream them I have to try really really hard not to laugh and tell them to stop saying them.

Kid 1: Who wants a shocker?
Kid 2: Give him the shocker!
Kid 3: I got the shocker now. Ha ha.

Now they are really talking about shocking each other with a fake teaser. (I didnt get it for them and I dont think that is what it really is but hey they have great imaginations)

I cant think of what he said but the other day another one of my children wanted to help me with dinner and as he was asking he was saying he wanted to do what ever it was with me. To me it had a sexual reference but to him none at all. I made him quit asking it.

Am I the only one who now automatically thinks of the perverted version of the word even when it is so innocent?

  • Man this weekend was really busy.
  • I had alot of fun though.
  • I got sun burned this weekend :(
  • We played kick ball after Easter Egg Hunting and lunch. It was alot of fun.
  • We also went to the park to hunt more eggs on Sunday. It was after the rain and there was only one water puddle, of course my youngest fell in it. I was mad, not at him but that it happen.
  • We have way to much candy now.
  • I am tired of the weather. I either want to put up the winter cloths or wear them damn it. Having 5 kids and 2 sets of cloths for each of them = no room. sigh.
  • I have something going every day but Sunday for the kids. Sports/School wise.
  • My baby(not really the baby) will be 10 on Sat. I am not dealing with this well. I think its because the oldest one is beginning to act older. He has grown mentally alot since Christmas.
  • Why is it big news that the Obamas got a dog? Yea it came from wise county. People get dogs every minute of every day. I dont understand the why it is such big news and that it needs to be an exclusive.

Happy Easter!

Have a very Hoppy Easter!

Friday, April 10, 2009

Oh man this week has been rough.

  • My oldest broke his arm on Saturday. So that means I have to continually tell him to stop jumping around and horse playing.
  • His cast was split for swelling but the more he move around the more it split open. He was home all week. (except today!).
  • We had to go to the doctor yesterday. In Fort Worth. The appointment was at 1:30. We went back around 2:45.
  • The doctor was really great though and once we went back it didn't take long at all.
  • His cast is now bright yellow. It looks like the safety vest of the men working on the side of the highway.
  • I got to drive home in traffic ughhh :(
  • Between games, practices, tutorials, and UIL stuff I am getting really worn out.
  • We had a baseball game Tuesday. They lost but it wasn't too bad. We have another on tonight. It should be better. They practiced batting last night. I think more of them will swing tonight. They all hit more than they missed.
  • This weekend is BUSY. We start with a game(baseball) tonight. Then 2 more games(soccer) in the morning. Then we are having Easter with my family after. That's always fun! Finally on Sunday we are going to have Easter again with my hubby's family.
  • Looks like there wont be any rest this weekend either...sigh.
  • I love hanging out with my family. We have a few drinks, talk and watch the kids play. Ok OK we play more than they do. I think we are having a game of kick ball this Easter.
  • I think its nap time now.

Do you know what the sun is?

My 4 year old does!

Its a flash light. A giant has it and it has one of those white things he saw me put in his big brothers room. He is going to see for sure if a giant has it one day because he is going to throw a rope around the flash light.

I just thought I would share this scientific discovery with all of you. It made me smile :)

Oh this weekend...

  • I am glad it is finally over. Who would have thought I would be happy I have to get kids and the hubby up and going?
  • The weekend started off pretty normal.
  • We went to the little carnival that Grace Fellowship had going on at the park.
  • Some lady made one of my kids go to the end of the line because he took 2 steps out to look up the line. I was mad and told him not to let people do that to him. (He didnt get to do the trampoline thing and he wouldnt have made it to the front of the line by the time his Dad picked him up) He was upset that he spent the whole time in that line and didnt even get to do it.
  • There were alot of people there. It was fun to take the kids. I let the 3 older ones wait in line for stuff while we did other stuff but they had to tell me where they were so I could check on them and know where they were at all times. I didnt want to leave the other 2 there with their mom. She would watch them but I still worry about them running off.
  • On Sat. morning I had to find a ride for one of the boys on the older boys soccer team. I would have done it myself if I didnt have other games to be at.
  • We rushed around and got ready, dropped some money off for baseball pictures, picked the little boy up and went to the youngest soccer game. It was fun and they were cute.
  • When it was almost over I went and watched some baseball. They did really well and have another game on Tue. I cant wait.
  • This is where things go bad.
  • I get to the Decatur soccer field and finally find a place to park. My mom is helping me with the kids and she gets a phone call.
  • My oldest son is hurt. There are plenty of people there to help. Mom, Dad, grandparents, aunts, and cousins.
  • I could tell his arm was broke when I got up there. You know when you lay you arm on the table its straight? Well his had a dip in it.
  • There was a paramedic there. She didnt do anything for him.
  • He was playing goalie and when a boy made a shot he jumped up and stopped the ball (hands full above his head). When the ball hit his hand it was kicked so hard that it broke both bones about an inch below his wrist.
  • The mother of the little boy that kicked the ball was very upset about it. She felt really bad. It wasnt her fault. I am glad she cared though.
  • We ended up with a blanket that wasnt ours.
  • We went to Decatur Hospital. They transferred him to Cooks because they didnt have anyone there that could set his arm.
  • At Cooks they put him to sleep to set it. It didnt take long.
  • When he was in recovery I was worried. He would look at us and asked what happen. He didnt remember breaking his arm. Then tell us he loved us and that the was tired. He closed his eyes for less than a min and opened them again only to not know anything he had just said or talked about. They said it was normal.
  • When we got home we had dinner and we all went to bed early. I was exhausted. It was 9:15.

Oh yeah while we were at the hospital my hubby told our son that something good came out of it. He didnt have to play his baritone for a while(this is before any pain medicine). This only upset more because he has a field trip on Thursday. We calmed him down and said he would still be able to go. It turns out he cant, thats when his check up is going to be:(

Sgt. Randy White

  • I cant help but cry for the loss of Sgt. Randy White and for his family.

  • He was only 32 and left behind a wife and 5 year old daughter.

  • Its been a long time since I the last time I prayed. I did last night.

  • This effected my husband in a way that I never imagined.

  • Me to. To grieve for someone I dont know personally.

  • I have a great deal of respect for our officers and feel that they do a great service for our community. I cant believe this happened.

  • I hope the capital muder charge sticks and ends with the max punishment.

Bridgeport Officer killed

BREAKING NEWS - CAR CHASE LEADS TO OFFICER'S DEATH - Bridgeport Police Sgt. Randy White was killed when Stephen York of Bridgeport crashed a stolen Suburban into White's police car Thursday afternoon on Texas 114 at Farm Road 2123 in Bridgeport. York was transferred to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. White was parked in his police car on the west shoulder of Texas 114, clearing traffic for an oncoming police chase York was involved in when the accident occured.Prior to the crash, York had led officers on a chase that began about
2:30 p.m. on Hale Street in Decatur. He was driving a white pickup, and from
Hale Street, he drove southbound in northbound lanes of U.S. 287. Police lost him after he left the roadway near the Zimmerer Kubota dealership.Officers thought he crashed or fled on foot, and they searched for him in a nearby field before getting a call from a homeowner on FM 2264 who said a truck had just driven through her yard.At some point, York abandoned the white truck and stole a Suburban parked outside a home near Reunion Road. Officers resumed the chase in Decatur following York south on Farm Road 51. He went through Paradise and continued west on Texas 114 to Bridgeport. The accident happened about 45 minutes after the chase began. Texas 114 will be shut down until approximately 10 p.m. to recreate the accident scene. Wise County Sheriff David Walker said York was possibly involved in a hit-and-run accident near U.S. 380 west of U.S 287 minutes before the chase began.

I am very upset about this. I heard about it just shortly after it happen. It greatly saddens me. Please keep this family and other officers in your thoughts.
