I dont put up with shit from my kids and I am not putting up with it from others either.....

I have been subbing. Its kinda nice. It gets me out of the house and I get some money too :) The kids can get loud and sometimes not do what they are supposed to. I leave a note about them and go on with the day. No big deal. I am pretty laid back in the classroom. I dont say much when they talk and they can listen to their ipods as long as they are working. They get to use their phones to look up stuff as long as they arent texting on them I dont really care. I will be damned if those kids are going to get attitude with me or be rude to me. If I ask you not to say something that is inappropriate. Then just dont say it. Dont tell me you will say it if you want to and when I tell you that you will be sent to the office dont tell me you dont care, cause thats right where you will be going. I havent been subbing long enough to send kids to the office but I did today. Then the other kids were talking in spanish and I couldnt understand them. Grrr I hate that. I am subbing for the same teacher in a few weeks. Oh what a joy that will be.

  • I subbed again today.
  • It was my favorite day so far.
  • The kids are old enough to know they need to stay in their seats and quiet but still be scared of getting into trouble.
  • I thought I was subbing for an English teacher, didnt notice she was a science teacher till the end of the day. They were reading Time for Kids and she was my sons English teacher in my defense.
  • The faculty bathroom smelled like crickets. YUCK....I feel for those teachers.
  • The room I subbed in smelled kinda like bubble gum. Her room is super cute too. :)
  • I sub for her again in a few weeks.
  • Pissed at my hubby right now.
  • We let our oldest shower in the morning but he didnt get up and doing this morning so we were running late.
  • He told him he could shower in the morning again after I said not like 5 times.
  • When the kids get to bed we are having a talk. Jack ass. I hate when he does that stupid shit...
  • Not just the you can after she said no.. the I dont have to deal with it so you can stay up late and blah blah blah.
  • Ok so I got busy and didnt finish this.....sleepy...more later...maybe.

Life...

  • Ok its been a while. I have neglected all my online stuff. The blog, facebook, even my game. I wrote a post but never got around to finishing it so I will try again.
  • Football stuff...PeeWee is going ok. They lost the first one but one the second game.
  • The first game was a beating. The second was much better than the first but I wouldn't go as far as saying it was a good game.
  • Middle school is much better than last year. There are not as many kids playing football this year. I guess 7th grade kinda weeds them out.
  • My child had the option to play 2nd/3rd sting A team or 1st string B team. I am happy with his choice. I wonder if others were given that same option because some of the kids on the B team I would have thought would be on the A team.
  • Their first game (scrimmage) was rained out. While sitting in the car waiting for the rain to die down a little I called the coaches to see what was going to happen. It was 5:30 and his answer was "Even if we went out there right now we wouldnt start for 30 mins. If we havent started by six we arent going to play but right now we are waiting out the Tornado Warning."
  • Tornado Warning really? Geez. And if you arent going to start for 30 mins any way and its already 5:30 wouldnt that make start time 6. So unless that are starting now they arent playing but you still havent called the game because you are waiting on the Tornado Warning while a bunch of parents wait in the parking lot?
  • Ok no more rants about the middle school football coaches because I really do like them.
  • On the Team Mom front....Getting some people to turn stuff in on time (or at all) is a pain in the butt. I feel like such a pain in the butt when I call and tell people I need.... it was due last night.
  • I am also very surprised by how many people actually sold all of their fund raiser. Go parents. You did a great job.
  • We order shirts every year. Just t-shirts that have some football thing on the front and the team roster on the back. I got the shirts back and they were not what I ordered. :( They still look good just not what I wanted because our coach likes everything for our team to be different than everyone elses.
  • They offered to reprint them for me or discount the shirts actually they offered to do both. Instead at the end of the season party they are going to print the boys some shirts for free.
  • I feel like I have been a pain in the ass to this place and they have been nothing but nice and helpful so here is to Ink N Stitch. Thanks for all you help and hard work.
  • I have been subbing. Some of it I like some of it not so much. I love the half days.
  • One of the teachers I subbed for I will not sub for again. Not that I didnt like her or the students just felt like I was being taken advantage of by another (one of her aides)
  • Kids try every thing to get out of class and doing their work. I dont remember being like that when I was a kid but I am sure I was.
  • In the High School sub folders they need to add slips for writing students up and sending them to the office. I would have sent one or two yesterday.
  • I have learned that when the older kids ask to listen to music or work in pairs the answer is no.
  • One of the Ace teachers has no clue of what some of the kids are learning and cant help them at all. I feel for those kids. They are there to speed up the process so they can graduate early/on time.
  • I am trying e-meals.com. Sili posted about it. I love it. This is the first week still though.
  • I used the Walmart list even though I hate going there. The list was broken down into sections. The items were in order. I didnt have to go back and forth to different isles or even on the isle itself. It was in order the items were on the shelf.
  • I was kinda iffy about the dinners though. Heres what we have had so far

    • Dirty Rice and Sausage w/ Grape and Walnut Salad- it was yummy.
    • Mozzarella and Basil Pannini- These were good too but next time I will have
to leave the basil out of the kids.
    • Delicious Soup- this was not so Delicious..at least to me. The kids ate it
ok but it seemed kinda bland or something I couldnt really put my finger on it.
I will replace it if it ever shows up on the list again.
    • Cheesy Chip Chicken- I was worried about this one. Who would have thought
coating chicken with cheese pringles would be good. It was excellent. The kids
and the hubby liked it. This was quickly added to the we gotta have this again
      list.

  • So these meals have be different than what we are used to but thats what I was looking for. I have stuck to the recipes even when they have stuff I dont typically like.
  • Tonight we are having shrimp. My oldest son has been waiting all week for this. He already asked what time dinner was going to be this morning.

***edit: I was going to make the e-meals thing a separate post but it wont let me paste and I am not retyping it :) I know this post is way to long.

It's Friday :)))

  • Its my sister's birthday. Happy Birthday Sister :) Thats her foot there in the picture. (I would put up the one with her face in it but she might kill me) Pic came from dfw.com.

  • She is 30 this year.

  • She also reminded everyone a few days ago that this is her birthday month.

  • In my family we females get a whole month for our birthdays. :) I do love this. Thank you Mom! Thank you Will!

  • See it took Mom getting presents early every year and Will being good to buy them for her and when her birthday came around still getting her a birthday present because you cant not open a present on your birthday.

  • I love my family, not just for the presents, they are really great.

  • Moving on..

  • I was a sub this week. I was nervous because I had never done it before.

  • It was easy. (Only because I was with another teacher and the teacher I was subbing for left a detailed list and instructions)

  • I loved the kids. I got to work with them more than normal because I only had 6 kids (max) at a time.

  • I dont know if it is because school just started but they were all good and full of information.

  • One of them was a triplet. Man I couldnt handle 3 at a time. I would have lost it.

  • My Dad moved this week. It was quick. I only found out they were moving about 2 weeks ago...if even that.

  • That means my step sister is moving there instead of here (when she gets to move). I was looking forward to seeing her.

  • Her trial is soon. Well Pretrial. We are hoping that this ends now and there wont be a trial trial.

  • We have our first football game this weekend. I am excited.

  • The boys are ready.

  • I am the Team Mom. I think I have mentioned that before.

  • I have been planning games, drinks, shirts, chain gains, announcers, fund raiser stuff (which is changing). Its not bad.

  • I love when parents volunteer for stuff. I did have to ask but I found a few to do what needed to be done.

  • Parents that help out with kids activities are the best. Makes me love 'em.

  • I am missing my babies right now. Big Boys...as one would correct me. He isnt a baby any more.
