- A lot happen this week/weekend.
- Football has officially started. Sign ups have been the past few weekends and now the draft is done.
- Bport went from 3 team to 2 teams. I think that has to mostly to do with the cost this year. It went up $30.
- There are many changes this year. Some parent will love others not so much.
- Baseball has officially finished for my boys...for the season.
- I am super happy about that. Not that I don't love watching them but its too damn hot to sit outside all day.
- Their final tournament was in Decatur. It didn't go so well. However they were in the hardest bracket. I guess that's what you get for signing up for a tournament ran by a rival team.
- They got their butts smoked by the first 2 teams but won the last one.
- I hope we don't play tournament ball next year. :) Shhh I didn't say that!
- Chico Auto parts (as well as several other building/businesses) burned this weekend. Our friends truck was there getting worked on. It wasn't in the shop and doesn't look to have damage but they wont know for sure if it has smoke damage inside until someone unlocks it. The keys burned in the building.
- Another Alvord teen was killed by a train this weekend. She was in the same class as the boy killed earlier this month.
- I heard a very sad and troubling story about the young lady.
- Alvord has had a rough go of it the last few years. If I were a parent of teenage kids I might strongly consider moving. I know these things can happen anywhere, they just seem to be happening alot there.
- My heart goes out the the town.

Too Much
Saturday, July 21, 2012
Well...
- I was hoping for an uneventful week but that just didn't happen.
- 2 of my boys went with their mother to coast for a few days. I was glad to have them back at the end of the week. It just doesn't feel right without them.
- The hubby was kinda crazy about the whole thing. He said they could go and then the night they were supposed to leave he was upset. He even tried to talk them into not wanting to go.
- I wasn't so happy about that. He and I have different opinions about telling no when it comes to their other parents. I don't feel we should if they want to because when they get older I don't want them to be able to say its our fault they never had the relationship they wanted with the other halves.
- He also had a hard week at work. Well sorta. One of his bosses told him no and well he just wasn't happy about it. So his response was that he was going to quit Monday if they hadn't fixed the problem. Geez he gets like that sometimes but..
- Thursday he called for a ride home because when he told his boss he was done and thank you for the opportunities the company had provided him with, he accepted the phone and keys and offered him a ride.
- Thank goodness he is important enough the other bosses said that wasn't acceptable and called him and asked him to come back to work and they would take care of whatever it was he wanted.
- I know I just made my hubby sound like he threw a fit to get want he wanted. However of all the times he has threatened to do this in the past it has never gotten this far and I could understand his reasoning. They were not selfish or childish. He was standing up for the employees that he is in charge of. If there is a better subject to have a fight with the boss about I don't know what it could be.
- It still gave me a slight heart attack when he come home Thursday content to play golf for a few days and then look for a job on Monday.
- I no longer sleep at night. And only an hour or two in the mornings. I don't know why. I just cant seem to get my head to stop.
- Has anyone read 50 shades of gray? A few people have recommended it to me and I love romance novels but I am not sure I can handle what everyone has been describing or once I started it if I would put it down. I have heard that the adult store sells have gone up between 15-20% for the toys in the book.
- I love how sweet and thoughtful my husband is and how he remembers he has more than just 2 kids. ...
This week also marked the 7th year of my Aunt passing. She was more like a second mother to me. I miss her and think of her often. She would help anyone with anything. Her home was always open. She was quick to tell you when you were messing up and even gave advice how to fix. She was one of the strongest and best women I have ever met in my life. The world was truly a better place with her in it. I want to say a f bomb and hear her say Jean Marie one more time or to be sent to the gas station with a week old cup so I am only charged for a refill instead of the full price for a new one and to get a sharp look when I bring back a new cup anyway. I would love to take you to the store for a can of green beans and spend an hour shopping. I love you Aunt Candy.

It has been a while...
- so hear is a short update.
- The 4th didn't feel like the 4th to me. It was short and sweet and we were in bed by 10:30. The hubby had to work the next day.
- We have friends that are a couple. He was our friend first but she has become one of my good friends. I love her. I have decided I don't want to be around him when she is unhappy with him or vise versa.
- He gets a "I don't give a f@#%!" attitude and I cant tell if it is fake (trying to be cool for his friends) or really how he feels. It makes me so mad because I don't know how one can say they love someone and then truly not care how they think or feel. It makes me think very poorly of someone I consider a good friend and who I truly believe is a good person.
- We have been seeing some other friends of ours more lately too. We used to hang out alot but the wife of that couple kind of put a stop to it. Made the get togethers more for family instead of friends. Its good to see them again.
- We went to NRH2O this week. It was fun the kids had a blast and it wasn't really hot until afternoon. There were 19 of us, only 6 of us were adults.
- That park is good for families. Not too many teenagers running around that need to cover more and small enough you can send bigger kids off on their own yet big enough they still have fun.
- They were testing their lifeguards that day. I didn't know they did that. The first time I saw it was in the lazy river. An adult starts flapping her arms and bouncing up and down in the water. She really looked like she she was in trouble. I was looking back at her thinking lady just put your feet down. Geez.
- My kids got sun burned. One really bad :( I even sun screened them 2 or 3 times. It was crazy.
- We are also going to Great Wolf soon. :) Just me the hubby and the kids. It will be good to spend some just family time. I am excited. Typing this makes me think my kids are going to play on the snake and beaver again....does that make me a bad parent?
- The base ball tournament that I set up a site for and flier for may not happen after all. That was the first time they advertised it at all and I don't think they realized how much work went into getting people to sign up and pay. They should have started along time ago. I am at the point that I just want to call it quits and let what we have signed up know its not going to happen.
- I am excited about that idea sort of.
- I am ready for school to start. Not because I don't want my kids at home but because they need some time apart. They are beyond the point of annoying each other.

Life and Stuff
- Since I am up (and I really mean still up because I haven't been able to get to bed yet) at almost 4 o'clock in the morning I decided a blog up date would be nice.
- My kids have started playing tournament ball and baseball has become a love hate thing for me. I love watching my kids play but I hate the practices, heat, and dirty uniforms. This basically means the hate is winning out right now.
- I am up so late right now because you guess it they have a game in the morning and as we told them all it was bed time and we were going to bed to so they couldn't stay up and watch tv my lovely son said can you wash my uniform....sigh.
- I only did laundry all week but hey sure I will stay up and wash your uniform that didn't get put in the dirty cloths all weekend. Oh make that 2 loads of laundry because my white pants are so dirty they look tan with brown spots.
- My husband and his friend have decided to put on a baseball tournament too. Since they couldn't find enough for the team to play in. Yep I get to deal with most of that too.
- I have set up the website for it. Created all the forms for it and fliers. I will also be responsible for the making sure everyone pays/ gets paid and buying stuff for the concession stand and getting team rosters. So the only thing they are doing is making the brackets. Does that mean I am putting the damn thing on? Cause it sure feels like it and I don't even want to go to any more youth baseball games.
- I had to add the word youth in there because we have season tickets to the Rangers and I have one been to one with my husband and 2 with friends. Not because I don't want to go but because I haven't had the time.
- Enough about baseball.
- I want to see so many movies its unreal. That's not really normal for me.
- I am trying to talk someone into seeing Magic Mike with me. Any takers? I am thinking about making my hubby go see it. After all if I can watch the Peep Show with him he should be able to watch that with me right?
- Why oh why does my spell check not work? I don't really want to proof read stuff :(
This is continued because I didn't want to proof read so it didn't get published :)
- Boys and baseball. They didn't play very well this weekend. Evidently one of my boys got an attitude so he didn't get to even play one game. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. At least I would have expected the unhappy kid.
- There are a few things that bother me about the baseball team/ coaches. This isn't so great because they are all friends of ours and one is my husband.
- I was told I need to quit giving one of them attitude and my hubby is tired of it all the way around.
- I cant help it if I feel like they are doing something stupid. Mainly asking my children to carry the equipment bag. Ok a little ways is fine but at these tournaments we have to park forever away and they asked the smallest kid on the team to care the dang bag. Sitting on the ground the bag is taller than his shoulders and it probably weighs more than him. It is ridiculous and my children are always the last ones there because their dad is a coach and we are waiting on him so they are always the ones to carry it. It pisses me off.
- My thoughts are I was done with baseball this year a long time ago. I don't have to go :)
- But interest of keeping our friends I am apologizing and handing over any and all baseball related stuff. I am going to watch my kids play and promptly leave. That way when I make my snide comments I am the only one that can hear them and I don't have to see all the shit that pisses me off.
- That includes all the stuff about the tournament they are putting on. I got everything together and am handing it over. To bad I found a whole bunch of neat stuff for it today. I will show them where it all is but I am not doing it :)
- Just typing that put a smile on my face.
- We are going to Great Wolf again :) I am supper excited about it because it will be just our family. No extended family or friends. Not that I don't love you all, just that it will be nice to spend some time with just us.
- I missed the fireworks this weekend. :(
- And the Rangers games....
