My Dad is coming to town tomorrow! I am super excited to see him. He lived so far away when I was growing up I didnt see him but 3-4 times a year. As I got older it was even less. Then a few years ago he moved closer but I still only saw him every now and then. :( I now regret that as he has moved away again. Though I cant change the past I am going to try to see him as much as possible while he is here and hopefully get to go see him some as well. (Sometimes thats hard due to the kids and school and sports and the hubbys work)
***Edit***
I got to see my Dad today :) Even it it was only for a few hours it was good to see him. I hope there will be time for another visit before he goes back.

Merry Christmas!
I know its a little late but I was spending time with my family :) I hope you all had a wonderful fun filled Christmas.
This Christmas we did things a little different than usual. We opened our family Christmas at home on Christmas Eve instead of taking it to my moms. I hate to say it but it was nice. We managed to get through the holiday without fighting once. I didnt feel rushed to put everything away or to get anywhere. The kids got to play with their presents and we didnt need 2 cars to pack everything in (before you think omg those kids are spoiled remember that there are 7 of us and presents from Santa, Grandparents, aunts and uncles from both sides of the family and us are alot and some are really big).
The kids this year didnt seem to have as much as the years before but seemed to enjoy it more. I liked it. 4 gifts from us which included clothes, books, a small toy and a game or movie to share with the family. The older kids got one gift from Santa - a desk, remote control car, and a magic set. The younger ones got 2(because they were easier for Santa to make)-- both got a scooter, and then a trio building set (kinda like legos but better ...I think) and a play dough set. From others they got more games, books and a few small toys. Now all we need is a new book shelf for the games and books. I think thats not a bad complaint to have. :) I by far think this is the best Christmas of my adult life.
Oh and if you are wondering what I got for Christmas, I got a:

Oh and if you are wondering what I got for Christmas, I got a:
- Framed picture of the family pictures we took over the summer for my Mom.---its already on the wall and it usually take forever for me to hang pictures!
- picture frame mobile
- bedding
- a new monitor- I had to have one and it seemed practical.
- headset- repeat from above
- and the expansion to the video game I play.
Yep I had a great Christmas too :)

Life and Stuff...
- I went ice skating with the family today! I only fell once but it was a good one :( I was going to post a pic of my knee and the nice little knot and bruise it left but I noticed it winter and I haven't shaved in a day or two ...
- My kiddo fell too. Poor thing.
- The little ones did much better this year than last. (This was their Christmas present from my uncle)
- They also asked to go to his house after. Of course he said yes :)
- Last week was the end of school for this year. Our school got to have Christmas parties while the others had holiday parties. I love that about small town schools.
- I miss the first one though. I swear the note said both parties started at 10. I was wrong. One was at 9 and the other at 930. Totally missed it. I felt really really bad. :(
- This year has been impossible to buy presents for my kids. Either I cant find something they would like or it just looks like crap (they don't make things like they used to). It didn't help that we said no electronics this year.
- We ordered some of it online. I was a little worried about it getting here on time because I did the free shipping thing. It would have been another $40 to upgrade the shipping and that would have made the present not worth the price. It was ok because I got it today :)
- The hubby is sick :( Just in time for Christmas. I asked him if I was going to have to go to his family by myself with the kids. He said he would tell me when it got here. I wont be happy. Maybe we could just not go :)
- I have been wearing my hair down rather than the normal pony tail for me.
- I haven't really had a hair style since high school (unless you call short then long then short all one length a style). I want something cute but easy to take care of. I just cant decide and when I do I am too chicken to do it :/
- I have started my New Years resolution list already. I am trying to keep it simple and stuff that I will follow through with. The hair is on it. Anyone know a really good hairdresser that I can trust to say do something cute?

Missing a Blog..
I was sad to see my favorite blog to read is not up right now. I hope its not for long though because I really enjoyed it. Don't let her bully you. She may be playing dirty but don't let her get away with that. Call her out on what she has done. There is no excuse for what she did.
***Edit****
I am still mad/upset about something that happened over a blog and personal thoughts and feelings. I am sad for the family going through it (because its no longer just on the blog), I am mad at the woman/man doing it, and dumb founded as to how it could be taken so far.
I don't understand how one could be so mad about not being able to be heard (rude or not) and then turn around and do the same thing to others. I was checking in on it and I gave my opinion but was ignored. I wont any more. I wont give you the satisfaction of thinking your opinion maters. I know the friend I have made through a blog is a good person. I wont listen (read) about how you twist her words/ actions. She was nothing but concerned and caring.
***Edit #2****
I wish people would just let this go and move on. It pisses me off every time I think about it (and it has nothing to do with me!). GRRRRRR. I think what pisses me off so much is that I cant do anything to help the situation.

Its been a while...
- Ok so I have been really busy.
- I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
- I did. Had a quiet lunch with my Mom, Step Dad and sister. After we sat around and talked. It was really nice.
- My husband has taken up golf. Which is fine but he wants to go all the time.
- He keeps adding things to his Christmas list. He is driving me crazy because he wants to go buy everything right now.
- With him I have to wait until last minute because if he knows its in the house he will go find it.
- We are starting Christmas shopping this week. I still dont really know what I want to get my kids.
- Football is officially over for us. We had our end of season party yesterday.
- It was fun. The coaches loved their gifts. We got them a book. One of the players mothers took picture all year long and put it together for us. It was awesome!
- She also made a slide show for us. She made my life much easier :)
- When I was talking about the coaches I almost cried. I am going to miss peewee. This was the boys last year.
- Some other stuff has been going on in life too but well it sounds like bitching alot or its really depressing so that boring ol stuff I will keep to myself because I am in a better mood for now.
- Happy days :)
