Its been a long while...

  • We have had a pretty good summer. I don't know if its because I feel like I have nothing to share/say or if I have been to busy but I haven't posted anything in what seems like forever.

  • We have been cooking out with friends alot this summer. That gets really expensive. I have had to cut back on that.

  • My kiddo's ear infection is all better. It took two weeks. Then we set the appointment for new tubes.

  • He got them yesterday. They also removed his adenoids??

  • They stuck a tube down his throat for that. (while he was sleeping) All went well and he is a happy little guy. The only problem is he has a nasty sounding cough.

  • On the 4th my little ones were with my cousin and her husband. The little one was playing on the golf cart doing ninja moves. Can any one guess how that ended up? Yep he ran over her husband. :( Poor guy.

  • He now has a "I am going to run you over with a golf cart!" look and photo. Thanks Chele!

  • We also cleaned bed rooms. I cant believe how much junk we got rid of. Some went to the trash and some was given away. They now only as many toys as their two toy boxes can hold. I am one happy momma.

  • To young mothers of little children. As they get presents for birthday and Christmas I suggest that you open a few, place a few in the closet for later when they are doing something really nice or special, and return a few. Use the money to place in savings for them or to take them somewhere special.

  • The little ones went with my uncle camping for a week. I really missed them. They had a blast and would have stayed with him forever.

  • My youngest one has started to whine every time he doesn't get his way. It really pisses me off and I may need a padded room....that serves alcohol.

  • The other little one has started talking back....make that a padded room, straight jacket and lots of alcohol.

  • Oh yea my cousins daughter came and stayed with us too. That was fun. She hasn't been here much since she can drive now. She has become a young lady.

  • We talked about her going to college (in Hawaii) and what she wants to do with her life. She was my first baby and isn't supposed to be all grown up.

  • I am almost done with school clothes shopping! Just the two little ones to go and I hope to have it done by the end of the week :) I am super excited about it. Oh yea Old navy has some really cute tee for boys right now.

  • Thats all I have for right now. I need to do lunch.

  • So what have I been up to?

  • Not a whole lot. Going Crazy. I mean absolutely crazy.

  • My kids are keep picking at each other and then one gets hurt or whines all day.

  • Since swim lessons I don't know that we have done much.

  • All the kids got sick. Well all but one. And then one got not one but 2 ear infections.

  • It was so bad you couldn't even touch the outside of his ear. He cried and cried. I took him to the family doc but that didn't help much.

  • We ended up at the ENT. I had to cancel one appointment for his hearing test to get him in a few days earlier for his ear infection. The doc said good thing too because he had a really bad infection. Antibiotics and ear drops for 2 weeks.

  • Still working on the meds but he is feeling much better. Thank goodness to because I couldn't take much more.

  • Other than that not to much has happened. Just hanging out with good friends and family :)

  • Oh yeah, our roof is leaking too. Thank you storms...

  • The insurance guy is coming to look at it tomorrow. That was a pain in the butt itself. When I first turned it in the guy said it doesn't sound like you have damage and our policy doesn't cover leaking.???? What? Would I really call if we didn't have damage? Would the roof really just start leaking out of nowhere after a storm if it hadn't damaged it?

  • They are sending the guy out and we are going to have to have a new roof. That will be fun. I might have thrown a fit. Just a little.

  • The big boys are at their other parents for a week :( I don't like it. I am going to miss them.

Woo Hoo!

  • Goo Mavs! Ok that's the only time I will do that.

  • We have been watching the games with friends. I couldn't really careless about them but my husband is a bandwagon fan.

  • Same with baseball. I tried for years to get him to go to a game and he never would.

  • I think it has to do with our current group of friends are sports nuts.

  • I do enjoy the fun and festivities though. I like having everyone over and the food is always good.

  • We haven't really had too much to do this summer.

  • We have had sick kids. We had the pink stuff for four different kids. It would have helped if he would have just given them the same dose but that would have been to easy.

  • We are going back to the ENT doctor this month too. The tubes have fallen out of my little ones ears. I kinda figured though because he is having trouble hearing again.

  • We had swim lesson last week. My husband aunt does them for free. I love her for it but it sure is a drive to Azle every day for a week.

  • The big boys still took them this year but this is their last. There isn't really a need for them to take up her class space she just wanted them to be able to swim a little since they have to sit and wait for their brothers.

  • The younger ones though did really well this year. Both are now swimming like fish.

  • I hate when someone tells you a secret that you really cant share with anyone else. Especially when you have so many questions about it.

  • The kids were told they have to clean their rooms today. I mean in the closet, under the bed, the toy boxes, everything. My husband laid they law down but I have to be the one to enforce it. That doesn't sound so fair to me.

Life

  • I have been ..I was going to say busy but that might be a lie :)

  • School is out.

  • The little one were driving me nuts within the first 2 hours.

  • I think it was because of the excitement.

  • The kids have adjusted well. Me ? still getting used to it.

  • I like to watch one show during the day and I have missed it every day since the kids have been out.

  • Its weird talking about summer when everyone elses kids are still in school.

  • I am still waiting on report cards for the older 3. I have a feeling the hubby isn't going to be pleased.

  • I have a little one that has been sick. He went to the doc today and hopefully will be his cheerful happy self soon.

  • His tubes have fallen out of his ears. I think he will probably have to get another set. We will see.

  • Oh yea a snake bit my husband while he was playing golf. It was crazy. They had to call about 5 different people to figure out what kind it was.

  • It wasn't poisonous. It didn't even have fangs. It had teeth.

  • I have heard of some snakes having teeth but I thought all snakes had fangs.

  • It was still crazy scary getting that call.

  • That's not the snake that bit him just a pic of one like it.

  • I haven't gotten the bill yet but I am sure it wont be pretty.

    What a game...

So 2 of my children had baseball games last night. For the youngest one it was his last one. Only about half of his team was there. The other team looked to be a little smaller than normal too. Really people? The kids seem to have more fun though. It didn't take as long to get through the innings and they didn't seem to get bored out in the field. It cracks me up when the slide into home. After one slide into home last night my little came up to me and proudly states "Look at my pants!" with the biggest smile ever. He is really going to miss tball and all the friends one the team.

The other game was my oldest. It started out kinda slow for them. The other team hit really well in the first inning and our boys didn't hit bad they just couldn't bring it all in. Then it picked up for them. Now I am not sure what the score was because I stopped counting the first inning. I do know that at some point the other team had 6 or 7 runs and we were down. Here lies the problem. I sit behind home plate most of the time and from one side I am hearing the score is 6-4 them on the other side I am hearing the score is 7-4 them. Time expires and we are finishing the inning. It was the bottom of the 4 inning we were up to bat when the third run comes in, they call the game(we still have a runner on 1st and one out left). We won. But then the coaches from the other team say no its tied up now. It knew this was going to happen. I could see it coming from a mile away. As the coaches are talking about it the umpire tells the boys to put up the mound (because it artificial) and the bases. So they do. There were alot of what must have been 5th or 6th graders there watching the other team (they had had a game earlier). They and the other parents were, for lack of a better word, unruly. They were upset, which is fine. They thought their children were being cheated but that anger and frustration does not need to be directed at the children on our team. They aren't the ones who keep score, nor the one that called the game. Well after all that they decide that they are going to playing. They get the mound and bases back out and the runner goes back to first. We have 2 outs. The runner steals second and the batter hits a pop fly to the out field. They miss the catch and it goes to the fence. Now the runner on second runs all the way to home. It isn't even going to be close. He crosses home and the other team starts screaming he didn't touch the plate. He goes back to touch it and now it is close and he is called out. First of all you can still see the cleat print on the plate where he touched it in the first place. Second of all the umpire was half way up the third base line. I don't know why the home plate ump would be there any way there were no close calls to be made any where but home. That's the second time the game should have been over but wasn't. At this point the kids in the stands were taunting the players. I have no idea how over time works in little league but the other team gets up to bat and the trash talk gets even worse. A mother even decides to join in. They score 5 and its our turn we only get 3. The game is finally over. Its now almost 11 on a school night and I am glad its over...even with the loss.

Now I would never let my children speak like those children were. I especially wouldn't allow them to taunt another child. And a parent joining in on all the "fun" just blows my mind. At some point enough needs to be enough. There came a point that I just had to walk away because I couldn't take any more. I had bit my tongue but I can only handle disrespect for so long. Even as I was walking to my car I could hear one of the boys saying "How do you like that?" "Whats up now?" to one of our team. Really? I don't think there was ever a time in my life that I wanted to slap another persons child more than that one right.

Dear young fans and that one special mother,
You were a disgrace not only to yourselves but to the team on the field. You should be ashamed of yourself.

    Life and Stuff..

    • Today was play day at school. It was so much fun to watch.

    • My favorite part is the tug of war. Man the teachers can get competitive about it too.

    • They didn't win. Their favorite part is in the pictures above.

    • So glad I (Alex begged me) remembered extra clothes this year.

    • I finally got a new phone. It has only been almost a month now.

    • It was a huge up grade too. Especially since I didn't even have texting on my plan before.

    • We have been really busy with baseball. We already had so many games we played 3 nights a week and sometimes there were double games. (2 of the boys teams played the same night)

    • With make up games and practices we have baseball every night for at least 10 days. I dropped the ball too because I completely forgot about 2 practices.

    • The hubby is finally back at work. He was off for a week and a half. I was going crazy. I need my quiet time and my girl time. I didn't get much of either with him home.

    • He is doing much better now too. He is still in a boot and still uses his crutches at work but at least he can get around.

    • He was in a wedding over the weekend and decided not to use either for it. Before the night was over his foot was black and huge.

    • That crazy shoe was worn by one of the bridesmaids.

    • Its almost summer. I cant wait (sorta).

    • We have to build some form of transportation again. This year we are going with a tank. Much simpler than the 18 wheeler.

    • I need to get busy with it because Thursday is coming quickly.

    • It seems we are getting out of school a few days (or weeks) earlier than some of the schools around us.

    • I don't know why some people think its ok for them to have whatever they want whenever they want it but its not ok for others.

    • Now I am too pissed off to even remember what I was talking about....

Edit: I forgot to add the pics. And why cant I get them to publish in the middle of the text?

    Soon

Ok so my hubby has been home and I have been busy but there will be a post tomorrow afternoon :) I have some fun stuff to tell!

    GRRRRR....

    • I just had to open that stupid email. Stupid stupid stupid!

    • I spent about 5 hours of my life trying to get rid of the virus.

    • It was a pain in the ass because it kept redirecting my browser.

    • We had baseball last night. They switched it up on me.

    • The ones that have lost every game won and the one that usually wins lost.

    • My hubby is in a wedding on Friday but he cant walk. It will be fun.

    • Yeah fun is the word.

    • I will add some more later but I have laundry to do.....

    Happy Mothers Day!

I love the women in my life that have helped me become the woman I am today. Thank You!

    Too fast...

    • What a day.

    • Went shopping.

    • Had lunch with my family for Mothers Day.

    • Saw Rio. Well sorta. The kids had to use the bathroom 20 times during it. Couldn't be because they kept getting refills during lunch.

    • Drove me crazy. I didn't really get to see the whole thing so my review isn't really worth anything.

    • It was...ok. Really predictable. I knew how it was going to end in the first five mins and it seemed to drag on even though its not really that long.

    • My favorite part was the music because my littlest one was dancing along. So sweet.

    • My oldest asked to dye his hair. He was shocked when I said yes.

    • I still made him call and ask his Dad. When he said no I told him to tell him I already said it was ok. Fine as long as its not permanent.

    • He wanted maroon but we couldn't find the temporary kind. I was going to get it any way but the kid said no. He is so good :)

    • My thoughts are: Its hair, we can always cut it off and it will grow back.

    • I also have the same thoughts about piercings.

    • He went with black. I don't have much confidence that it will wash out but its supposed to fade out in 28 washes.

    • He looks good and he loves it.

    • He also had 8th grade banquet(instead of graduation) tonight. Semi formal.

    • I cant believe he is going to be a freshman next year.

    • I had an OMG moment last week.

    • My 1st grader lost his first tooth. Yes his 1st one!

    • Someone asked how old he was and I guess it was the first time I said it but I was floored when I answered "He's 7."

    • He cant be that old yet :( and the baby will be six in just 2 weeks.

    • Big momma tears at the thoughts of my babies growing up so fast.

    • I am proud of them though :)

    Friday, May 6, 2011

I have been busy or maybe just lazy :)

    • Kolby just lost his first tooth. I am the worst mommy ever. The tooth fairy totally forgot to come :/

    • Alot was going on and I fell asleep on the couch and woke up late and just ran around telling everyone to get up. I got to his room and said everyone up. Stopped mid sentence and said oh no wait not yet....It was too late.

    • We had baseball games last night. 3 of them. They started at 6, 7, and 8. At least they were all here in town.

    • The first one was a beating. When a team is up by 24 they should just call the damn game....geez. The Tball one I didn't get to see because I had to go take care of the hubby. The last one was a good game but they lost and I didn't see the end of the game because again I had to go care for the hubby (aka the big baby).

    • The hubby got hurt at work yesterday. Fun stuff. He had really bad club feet when he was born and had a bunch of surgeries and stuff when he was little. His feet don't have the same flexibility as most. Walking along he stepped on something made his foot bend and it popped.

    • We spent a while in the ER having it x-rayed last night. Its not broke but he has to stay off it for a few days and they gave him a boot.

    • I found my camera! I was so excited I almost dropped the damn thing.

    • It was in my coat pocket. I looked there twice, even put it on and checked every pocket and couldn't find it. I needed it morning and put my hand in the pocket and there it was.

    • I washed my phone a few weeks ago. I still haven't gotten a new one yet! I have taken one of my boys. He hardly ever used it any way ;-) and he is grounded now too so whats the hurry. I am hoping to get an EVO for Mothers Day.

    • We have a possum running around/under our house. I am hoping to catch him soon or we are going to have to call pest control.

    • I am the catch and release kind and my hubby is the catch and kill kind. We differ on so much I don't know how on earth we found and fell in love with each other.

    • Hehe the hubby is snoring so loud right now he woke himself up! Its funny, yet annoying. I just want to go pinch his nose :) I know I am sweet like that.

    Sunday, April 24, 2011

    Yep again...

    • Happy Easter!

    • I have lost my camera :( This makes me really really sad.

    • I had all kinds of baseball pics on it too.

    • I actually cried tears over my lost pics.

    • Today my allergies killed me. I can hardly see and I cant stop sneezing.

    • I caught my hubby just staring and smiling at me twice today. I wonder what he was thinking. He really makes me feel special sometimes :)

    • Yesterday we had Easter lunch and hunt with my family. Today we were at the hubby's aunts for dinner.

    • I am sun burned. Well my neck is. I don't know why I can never remember my neck. One of the big boys didn't put any sunscreen on and he is burnt. I only feel a little bad for him because I told him several times to put on sunscreen on. He even answered me once and said he had. Little brat.

    • My uncle is getting a divorce. I really thought this would happen a few years ago. Their living arrangement kinda prolonged it. I only mention it because his soon to be ex has been around alot still.

    • I asked him about it when he was telling me about up coming parties. He is getting a divorce but he hopes that she can still be around for all the family fun (Easter, Christmas, ball games, and etc.). She enjoys herself and those things and he still enjoys her company, he just doesn't want to be married.

    • I think this is great and hope she can still be apart of our family :)

    • Have I ever mention how much I love my family? My parents, my sisters, aunts and uncles, and cousins. We are a close family. We are more than just family, we are friends. I hope that when our children are older they will be as good as friends as we are.

    • All this candy in the house is going to kill me :/ Every time I walk by I pick up a piece.

    • That's all because I am falling asleep.

    Life :)

•I had a good weekend. Friday we hung out and watched tv.
•Saturday I went to a birthday party. It was a 50's sock hop and the kids were so cute!
•I had a nice talk with a blog friend :) and family.
    •Good for the soul...and sanity.
•The kids had hair cuts this weekend well 3 of them anyway. My baby looks so much older when I get his hair cut :/
•Sunday all the bigger kids came home and the hubby went out and practiced some baseball with them.
    •What a beautiful day.
•Man my kids think they know everything. (this caused me to learn a few new rules to the game..you know the made up kind...just got tired of arguing about them and said ok whatever)
•One tells the other to get ready for the ball as he sits down in the dirt.
•My Mil is speaking to me again. She has found someone else to be mad at.
•I am still keeping my distance.
•I have been trying to sub more but its hard when I only want to sub at one school.
•Friday I went in and they didn't really need me so I did odds and ends. It wasn't bad and I know the teachers liked it. Well the ones I got to help anyway. Some were just so thankful for the help I may start stopping by there when I volunteer with my kids teachers.
•I put in a complaint with the school. When I get a reply and its over with I will have a special post just for it because man did the Middle School principle piss me off!
•That's it for now. Time to get moving

    Done and stuff...

    • The done post was about me being done with everything in general.

    • Done with the kids leaving everything in the floor.

    • Done with whining and crying about nothing.

    • Done with picking at each other.

    • Done with only half ass doing chores and causing a mess.

    • Done with cleaning up after everyone only to turn around and see it all messy again.

    • Done with an upset husband because the house isn't clean but he cant even put his dinner plate in the sink, or his shoes by the door or his spit can in the trash (yuck!).

    • Done with the kids thinking I am going to wash baseball uniforms that are stuffed in some dirty corner of their bedroom.

    • Done with trying to be in 20 places at once. Yes I have 5 kids. Yes I chose to have 5 kids. Sometimes so that all of them can play sports I need a little help because I cant be in three different cities at the exact same time.

    • I reached a boiling point and exploded.

    • I am better now though. Not much really changed but going in my room and not doing all the things I needed to be doing and taking 10 mins to myself gave me the time I needed to sort it all out :)

    • Don't get any of that wrong the hubby has been going to the games and even a practice or two after work. He just doesn't get home in time to help get them all the places they need to be.

    • Baseball was ok last week. One team won the other one lost....and there is Tball. It bores me to death!!!!!! The kids have fun and I watch it but man I would rather be watching a real game. Each player gets to hit the ball. 3 pitches and if they haven't hit it they put it on the tee. Then they run to first and stop. Each player does this and they move around the bases one base at a time until the last batter and then everyone still on base runs home. Then its the other teams turn. Its cute and fun to watch for the first inning or so but 3 innings is just a beat down.

    Done...

    I am done.............

    Thursday, April 7, 2011

    Sigh...

    • I love and hate facebook. I have been trying to look up an old friend but cant seem to find her. I mean there are people that come up in the search but I am not sure which one is her or even if any of them are her.

    • That same kind of thing. I sent a friend request to a guy and asked him if he was the person I was looking for and he accepted the request but didn't answer me. So now I have a friend but I am not sure if its the right one.

    • And I had a bright idea to look up an old boyfriend. Never would I even attempt to contact him. He was a bad one. I was shocked to see him on there. I do wish him happiness and I hope he is better to the women in his life than he was me.

    • On another note....

    • Baseball is going to kick my ass...

    • Almost every night of the week we have something going on.

    • By something I mean a baseball game. I have no idea how I am even going to add practices in with it.

    • I have so many plans for the next two months I don't know what I am going to do. I cant keep up with it all any more and I have started to plan the summer already.

    Continued....

    • my son went to a girls party last night. It felt weird dropping him off. He isn't supposed to be doing that yet.

    • Yesterday was long. They had the little one play back to back games. After the first one the kids were done and wanted to go home.

    • At one point in the first inning there were 4 kids sitting in a circle in the middle of the field. It made me smile.

    • Tball cute to watch but its like watching TV on a loop. The kid hits the ball the whole team runs after it. The batter trys to run all the way home and they stop him at first and about every fourth kids get lost on his way to second and ends up in the outfield.

    • Needless to say pictures and two games was way to much for my little guy.

    • The older three did really well. It was exciting to watch them play. One was walked and out after stealing third and over running the bag. The other two got to bat a few times. They had some good hits too:) I am happy they finally have the hand eye coordination to get a hit this year.

    • One had a bad call while up to bat and said something to the ump about it after that everything thrown at him was called a strike...even the one that bounced before it got to the plate.

    • I hate the game of golf...I hate even more that on Sunday morning all I want to do is snuggle up with my hubby and sleep late but he wants to get up and go play golf with his buddies.

    • I have more to write about but right now I need to go....

    Friday, April 1, 2011

    • My kids get ungrounded today. They were really happy to hear it.

    • Ones grades still aren't where I want them but they are getting better so its time to ease up a little.

    • The other one had better have learned his lesson.

    • Last weekend was interesting to say the least.

    • We went to a birthday party. It was paintball. Once I got over the whole kids are supposed to be grounded not here thing it was pretty fun. There were 2 parties of about 12 kids. The kids had a blast. The adults are going to go back some time.

    • When we got home it was a different story though.

    • We had that talk but it wasn't as I had planed. It ended well though and I feel better. Not perfect but much better.

    • I also lost a check book this week. That was fun. Panic mode. Called the back and canceled the whole book of checks. Went to all the stores I go to all the time and let them know if they got one back please call me and I would either pay cash for it or write another one that wasn't canceled.

    • I was surprised at how understanding they were.

    • I also went to the planetarium for a field trip. It made me sick. I had to close my eyes when they made the stars move.

    • The museums were really neat. I wish the kids would have slowed down a little so I could look at it all more. The hands on kids part was really neat. They had a blast.

    • We will be going back this summer. The kids will love it.

    • The internet is driving me crazy. It goes up and down all the time. Its never down for long just enough to piss me off and to disconnect the hubby's game. That doesn't go over very well.

    • Still not talking to the MIL. I had to have her help the other day. I was going to have a friend do it but the hubby asked her first because he thought I wouldn't.

    • He was right. I wouldn't have. I did swallow my pride and speak to her about what I needed to do. I have learned I can hold a grudge if I really want to. I don't like it though.

    • Opening day for baseball was supposed to be this weekend. They had to move it because they don't have uniforms yet.

    • All the games are going to be during the week. I think there are maybe 2 Sat. games. It kinda sucks because that is going to make having dinner hard.

    • Games will be Mon. Tue. Thurs. and Fri. No more than 2 each week for each of the boys but I am pretty sure that some games over lap and the others well makes me have games 4 nights a week. This kills any excitement I had about baseball.

    • Well except the Rangers games. I really want to go to a few this year. I hope we have the time.

    • Ok that's it for now...time to do some more laundry....sigh.

    Monday, March 21, 2011

Yep I actually uploaded my pics...

Fun on the beach! They played in the waves all day. Man were they cold too!
Yep Men can cook to. Who knew?

    Texas Sea Center
There were lots of big ships coming and going. Fun to watch.

Beautiful! The only sun rise I saw the whole time. (Man that felt good!)

    Vacation...

    • was a good time with good people.
    • We went to the coast. 3 families and 2 singles rented a beach house.
    • I know it sounds like alot of people for one house but there was plenty of rooms.
    • We were right on the beach (sorta, there was a grassy lot and a road between the house and the beach, but no one used the road because the only house on it was empty last week and the grassy lot made a great play area for the kids).
    • The beach was really nice for most of the week. The last 2 days not so much. I guess the tide changed? (the waves changed directions) It caused a bunch of brown stuff and jellyfish to wash up on the beach. Yuck.
    • It was really too cold to be swimming but the kids did anyway. They had a blast.
    • The older boys came and went as the pleased for the most part. Only had to let someone know they were leaving.
    • The best part is that because we were with other families with children ours had plenty of people to hang out with and didn't really fight the whole time we were there :)
    • I don't think we have ever eaten so much grilled food though. Chicken, steaks, fajitas, shish kabobs, hamburgers. The veggies were great. Nothing from a can, and nothing frozen. It was awesome and I learned a few new things for dinner :)
    • The kids at so many corn dogs I lost count.
    • We went to the Texas Sea Center and a little museum that I thought would be crappy. It was actually really kinda neat a much bigger than I thought.
    • We tried to go crab fishing without much luck but the kids had fun and managed to throw both nets completely into the water.
    • While there we ran into a rotten little boy that even the girls wanted to slap his little mouth.
    • We also went bowling. Now that was fun. All the little ones on one lane with bumpers, the big kids on one and the adults on one.
    • I thought that would make things easier and the adults game would move a little faster than the kids. Nope the kids smoked us.
    • I did break 100 on both games so I was proud of myself :) (yeah I know its still low but hey I am lucky to break 60)
    • The rest of the time was spent at the beach or for the boys fishing (oh yeah throw in some catch and football too, oh and golf for the men). Well except the evenings which included lots of laughter, too much alcohol, good friends, and cards.
    • We didn't plan a whole lot but I think that's what made it so much fun.

I will get my pictures on the computer and share a few sometime this week when I catch up and laundry and all the kids stuff.

    Its been a while..

As you know things have been weighing heavy on my heart. I decided that I would push them all aside and deal with them when we returned from vacation since we would be spending the week with two other families and a few single friends. To keep that much hurt, anger, jealousy (as some would say), wonder, and worry inside for so long is really hard to do. Its harder to let it all go and have a good time, and yet even more so to bring yourself back to reality and actually deal with it all. At one point I did give in and spill my guts to what used to be just a family friend. She is now more to me than that. That also led to a conversation between our hubbies while they played golf today. I had shared more than he had. I felt better after talking with her. She had words of wisdom and encouragement. I will let ya now next week how it all turns out (well unless it goes bad, then I might be here spilling my heart).
