Married Life

• I am a married woman now :)
• After being together for so long I didn't think getting married would be a big deal. It was and I am extremely happy that we finally did.
• We were both really nervous. I found that kind of odd after all these years of living together.
• My father told him it wasn't too late to run when I went to the restroom. I might have to slap him for that next time I see him.
• Both set of my parents came and I was sweating it a bit but it worked out just fine. My mother and step mother both even commented on each other (how nice and how they had some things in common) the day after we returned.
• Our wedding was also online. I shared the link with our families. I was surprised how many people watched it.
• This was the second time I have been to Las Vegas. I enjoyed this time more than the first. We kind of went our own pace and did only what we wanted to.
• We went to the shark reef and the Peep Show. The reef was awesome the Peep Show was only ok.
• I am also proud to say I have worn my ring since Jim put in on my hand. That's a big thing for me since I never wear jewelry, not even the engagement ring he gave me 9 years ago.
• I endured my first select baseball tournament this weekend. It was ok. They won 2 lost 2.
• It seemed that the boys just didn't play the second game each day very well. They got hot and tired and gave up. I am happy to say that my 3 children played pretty well.
• It was in Oklahoma so we stayed the night. Each night the adults hung out and had a few beers. It was a good way to get to know the new parents.
• The new team members fit well into the team. It seemed they all ran around everywhere together. All in all a good time.

Life and stuff

• So I am getting married in 3 days.(two if you count this as Friday but I don't because I haven't gone to bed)
• I have had an engagement ring for years now but I never wear it.  I am just not a jewelry kind of person. I have lots of nice stuff but never put it on.
• I bought my hubby a ring on yesterday because well that's when he told me he wanted to wear one.  I also ordered me a new one too. Its plain, no stones, no fancy design. I am hoping that I will wear it that way.
• Baseball update: They lost in the third round.  I thought there was going to be a fight.  I don't like to see the kids taunt each other but I can understand it sometimes happens.  However, I can not understand how any parent would taunt a child.  A coach was removed from the game.  The fans were disgraceful.  We watched the championship game and cheered for the other team for a while until we realized their fans were just as rude and disrespectful.  Then we moved off to the outfield to finish watching the game... Select baseball has now started for us. Longer practices and longer games (not really just more of them all at once because they are tournaments).
• My little ones are going camping with their cousin this weekend while we are gone. They were really excited.  I almost feel sorry for my uncle. Almost.
• We are going to have a house sitter here. I am hoping that he isn't going to be sleeping in my bed.  I have reasons for that.
• I wanted my father and step father to walk me down the aisle. One told me I needed to pick because he wasn't comfortable with it. I chose the other one.  Not really choosing just taking it as he told me no.  I think he knew he hurt my feeling but not changing the way he felt about it and is ok with not walking.  In fact told me it didn't matter one way or the other : /
• My kids have been playing with airsoft guns in the house while the adults are out.  At some point today they shot my monitor and it now has a crack in the middle of the screen.  When those kids get up (it will be early) they are going to get an ear full and lost of chores.
• I need some sleep. My next post will be as a married woman :)

Man...

My sister cant catch a break. They were just here this past weekend.  They flew home on Monday. Tuesday her husband was ridding his motorcycle and was hit by a car that ran a red light.  He had one surgery last night another on Friday and at least one more next Thursday.  He has a broken arm, clavicle, leg and both knee caps.  I am sure she is scared to death.  Her first husband was in a wreck shortly after they married and it changed him for the rest of his life, which resulted in events that changed her and her sons for the rest of their lives.

Short Update...

• because I am busy.
• We didnt make up the game. Well we were suposed to but after all that crap and someone finally saying pick a day, the other coach finally did. He made sure it was the same time as our graduation though.
• We still showed up with the whole team only to have them forfeit because they didnt have enough show up. Grr.
• My little one that made it to the play offs lost the first game and is out.  He is ok with that.
• The big ones play tonight!  I am excited. I hope they do well.
• This weekend I cried alot. My baby girl (really my cousin) graduated :( So grown up.
• My Dad and Step mom and step sister and her family came in this weekend too.
• I love them.
• I have some of the cutest nephews ever!
• They are twins and very well behaved.
• I am getting married in less than two weeks! Ekkk.

Baseball...

Drama....

This crap drives me nuts.  We need to play a make up game now :(  All the games in Bport were canceled Monday due to the holiday.  That happened over a month ago by our commissioner.  Well the team we were scheduled to play showed up and said they didn't know the game was rescheduled. They were the only ones there, no umps, no concessions, every thing locked up tight. Really? they were the only team that showed up that day and there were 3 games (at least) that had been moved to Tuesday.  He called our coach and asked him if we were going to play and he was told then no the game was moved to Tuesday and we would see him then.  So last night we all get ready to play and they don't show up. We call and he said he didn't know the game had been rescheduled.   Yes he did he just wanted to be a pain in the ass.  So the baseball president has to say reschedule the game. SO we tried... and tried.... and tried.  Play offs start Monday, and they are setting the schedule and brackets Saturday morning. It has to be made up by then.  SO we asked them to play Wednesday in neutral town. No we either have to play in Bport or their town. We already played them there and were are not doing it again.  A little unfair to get home field advantage twice.  So we off Thursday. Nope cant do it. We have finals and graduation.  Well what finals are you going to have the last day of school, especially when its only a half day?  And we looked it up the school website says graduation is at 5. Why cant they play a game at 8?  That's right because they don't really want to.  So we offer Friday and Saturday morning but he cant do that either because he is going out of town with his son those days.  So he has said no to every single day for a possible make up.  We want someone to day this is the day and time for your makeup game either show up and play or forfeit.  We are waiting for that call today.

Now let me tell you why all that matters.  Our kids have worked their butts off and have made it to the play offs tied for first right now. Each team only has one loss (to each other). The problem is if we don't play this game they will have one more win than we do and that will drop us into second.  The first place team gets a bye in the first round of play offs.  Now if they make up this game and lose that's one thing but to just take away first place after they have worked so hard is just wrong.  The other coach not wanting to make up the game is for just the opposite. He has the same number of wins as the team placed below him however he has one less loss right now.

Ok so this is Drama #2

When 2 teams go undefeated during the season when they meet it makes for interesting games.  The first one we lost :( it was a hard one the second time we played at their field and even before we knew how good they were we worried about playing there because everyone had been talking about their umps being home town umps and even threw out a few coaches.  When we played in bport there was a little drama.  We didn't like some of the calls but then the other coach was talking shit to our coach while he was coaching the bases.   Being a class A jackass.  Well let me tell ya our head coach is 21 and a good friend of ours.  Well his dad was there. Long story short the coach told the dad to  be a fan and let the coaches handle the field.  Dads response: "Because that coach you are being such a prick to is me son."  The other coach didn't say another word while he was standing there.  However he did say something to him again and I don't have a clue what it was but it was enough to make my husband ( who is the assistant coach) ask him if he wanted his ass kicked. I know not the right thing to do and he was told to shut his mouth. After that all seems to go ok. Games over we lose.  Then we play in their town.  First drama there.. the book keeper says we are batting the same kid twice. Nope. Our last batter was ___. Then they say that kid isn't even on the line up and he is an out.  Well let me tell ya our book keeper is picky. She marks everything and you don't tell her her books are wrong.  She gets pissy.  Well turns out he was on the line up they just forgot to write him down.  Then the field umps tells our first baseman that he cant stand on the bag. He has to stay off it and out of the base line or the runner is automatically safe.  We have to tell him he is wrong and have the plate ump tell him the rules.  Then one of the boys on our team hits a home run.  The kid in the out field trying to catch the ball calls it a home run, the plate ump calls it a home run, the first base ump calls it a bounce over and he has to stop at second. Well eventually we just said we are petitioning the call and if we lose we will petition the game but we won so there was no need to petition.   So apart from bad calls (and I do mean bad calls) for the whole game from the first base ump the rest of the game was without too much drama.  Oh apart from the other team kids talking crap and ours starting to respond ( one of mine being the main one. oh did I rip him a new one) and our coach yell loud enough for everyone to hear that his players were not going to act like that or stoop to that level of ball play because they were better than that.  At that point the other coach put a stop to their taunting as well.  Not a great experience but not too bad either.

Now all that being said there is a parent from the other team talking all kinds of trash about our head coach (on fb non the less). Telling people he has had the cops called on him 3 or 4 times (not true by the way) that he threatened to whoop someones ass in the parking lot after the game, he was flipping people off and cussing at everyone including the kids. That he is a 21 year old punk that is a terrible coach and shouldn't even be allowed to coach.  As I said we know him, he is a friend of ours. He doesn't cuss at the kids, he doesn't flip people off and the man my argue with you for hours but he is not going to threaten to kick your ass after the game because he is not a fighter. We knew him as a coach (football) before we ever knew him as a friend.  He is a damn good baseball coach.  He is 21, he has no kids. The only reason he does this is because he enjoys it. Every time he rips one of the boys a new one about some thing , not only does he tell them how to fix what they are doing wrong but also tells them something they are doing right. And when they do fix it he lets them know how great they are doing.  He has not only worked on the mechanics of baseball but also the game.  Its fun to watch.  I think he is the best baseball coach my kids have ever had; friend or no friend.

As I was typing this I realized that this lady talking about our coach may have him confused with another teams coach because I do believe that some of that did happen on another team.  And he was a really young coach as well.  I do believe that the commissioner told him he wasn't allowed to coach any more and I have noticed that he is no longer on the field when that team plays.

Tears..

I have shed a lot of them lately. Some of them sad, some happy, and some oh my how them time has flown by.  Regardless of the reason I have decided they are not my friend.  The most recent ones not even relieving some of the frustration that caused them in the first place.  So not worth the puffy face and red eyes.

Life and stuff...

• Today is my baby's birthday. He is seven :( I got him a shirt that says "It's safer to assume I have ninja skills"  It is so him and he loves it.  He also changed what he wanted at the last minuet from a Kindle fire to golf clubs...He got the kindle because I already had it.
• I have calmed down since my rant.  I didn't get to speak to the principal again though.  Well not about that incident. 
• He did call the next day because he had another one of my children in his office.
• Really? What is wrong with my children? Where have their manners and good behavior gone?
• Well he called before he talked to him.  Evidently he and his friends thought it would be funny to make snide comments to him about parents yelling at him and then crack up at their own jokes.
• I did give him the stern "That conversation was for the adults not you and your friends."  However I am not sure what the principal expected.  I told him I couldn't handle talking to him at that point and I would lose my temper with him and he still continued and even took it to a place where teachers and children alike were walking by and through.
• Even though I didn't get to talk to him about what happen the other day he did get my point and that he was not to talk to my children again with out me first.
• Baseball is almost over. I am both happy and sad about it. I am tired of running all over the place but man do I love to watch my boys play.
• They all have gotten better and one is just getting his confidence about hitting the ball. I am going to hate to see him start all over next season.
• Yesterday we were supposed to play cards with some friends. We ended up having a few extras so no cards :(
• I did have 2 bottles of wine though.  When I was half way done with the second one I was checking the alcohol content because I was thinking man I should be drunk by now.   About 10 mins later I was feeling it.
• Wine makes me silly.
• I would say I am surprised I didn't have a hang over but I slept until noon today :) Well minus the part where I woke up my little man and gave him his presents.
• I had something else but now I cant remember.....

Rant.

Really pissed off!  Today I got a call from the middle school vice principal.  He wanted to ask me if my High school student had one of the middle school calculators. Really?  Why would he have one? Shouldn't they have asked about it last year not at the end of this year?  Well turns out one of my children said during class that his brother had one of those at home before and he would just like me to look for it. OK he has had one but I am pretty sure he turned it in and any that he had this year would have come from the high school. So we will look.

Then I pick up my children from school and this is the story I get:
 I ask my child (son #1) Why the hell would you say that your older brother (son #2) has a middle school calculator?  I didn't I said he had one like the one my teacher was using.  They called my other child (son#3) to the office  tell him it can be easy or hard and accused him of taking it and told him not to lie, they already know he has it. To tell the truth. Was he saying his brother was a liar? Then they called  the other one # 1 in and asked him. When he said he was talking about his older bother  #2 they told him not to lie that his teacher said he told her son #3 had it.  Then they called the teacher in and she said oh he is right he did say his brother.  Then the principal called me and also the High school to see if my older son had checked out a calculator.

First off who the hell are they to accuse my child of taking something when he is telling them he doesn't have it and never did or to tell him he is lying?
Second why the hell do they need to call in my other child and pretty much call him a liar to?
Third who the hell are they to call my the high school and ask about my older child?  He is non of their damn business. If they need something from him or thought he had a something from over a year ago then they should have asked for it along time ago.  If the damn thing wasn't missing at the start of school he didn't have the damn thing from the year before.

The vice principal got an ear full this afternoon. He will most likely get another one tomorrow afternoon.  I had to go in to get the one of the boys that stayed after to take a test and as I was walking out I saw both the principal and the vice principal.  I went in and told him that I would like to talk to him tomorrow sometime after 1 (because I am subbing in the morning).  He asked about what and I told him #3 and the calculator but I didn't want to do it right then because I was too mad and I couldn't do it respectfully. He then told me that I needed to ask the boys about it and what happen.  When I told him I had and that wanted to talk about it tomorrow he said he would call me after 130 because he had lunch duty.  Well then when I turned and walked away he followed me telling how I really need to talk to the boys about what happen because he told the teacher one of them had the calculator and she thought  it was on in the middle school. He continued to follow me through a second door and I turned and let into him. How dare he call my child a liar and accuse him of stealing . That was the second time they have miss treated my child and I was not going to have.  Then he had the balls to bring in that he was the one that corrected the problem before but he wasn't I was. I found out in five minuets last time that what they were saying was wrong and all it took was to ask his teacher if he was in class. I am not unreasonable, I do not think my children or perfect and I am harder on my children than anyone ever could be but they are not going to miss treat my kids.  Through all of this he was insistent that I speak with my children and that I would understand. I did speak with them again when I got home. I listened to both of them tell me the story about what happen and fill in the blanks that the other one didn't know. Guess what?  I am more pissed than I was in the first place.

I still want a meeting with both the principal and the vice principal I have told them before but I will be telling the again  neither of them or anyone else in that school is to speak to any of my children before they call me and talk to me.  I hope that next time I tell him that I want to wait until I have calmed down he will listen.

Busy Busy Busy!

This time of year is always so busy.

Baseball is great! The younger one has won his last 2 games. They actually look like a ball team now. Its fun to watch.

There are still occasions where they have no idea where to throw the ball but that's the fun heart attack part. Right?

The older ones? Well we are going for an undefeated season! Lets hope it keeps going this way!

I have been busy busy busy!

I have picked out my flowers. Now I am just waiting to hear back from the lady to see if she can do it.

I have purchased my dress. I cant wait for it to get here!

I cant believe how much fun it was to go dress shopping. My mom went with me. It didn't take as long as I thought it would. (Most likely why I think it was fun)

I have sick ones! Yuck. Little one came home from school with a head ache. By bedtime he was running a good fever. Another one was sent home with the same head ache.

Sprint is driving me nuts. First we wanted to add our phones to the same account as our kids. (we had to wait for the contract to end at ATT) We were told it would be better for us to have 2 accounts. We did.

Now our kids are getting data plans and we all need to be on the same account. We were assured we would be able to do this. Yea but what a pain in the ass!

I spent hours on the phone with them the past 2 days. Its finally done and I finally ordered new phones.

2 iphones and a reflex? We are making them pay the extra it cost for them to have the smart phones.

One chose not to. With his saving on his phone and phone bill he bought himself a Kindle Fire. His brother are jealous right now.

His little brother also got one. He returned his Ipod he got for his birthday.

I cant believe he is 8 already. So grown up.

He is at the why do I have to stage and the No stage. I don't think either will last long because I don't put up with that shit.

My kids are not perfect but I consider them pretty well mannered and good kids. When I see kids who are not I try to keep my children away from them as much as possible.

Recently I have noticed how critical I am of kids behavior. I wonder if its just the kids I have seen around are terrible?

One day at baseball games my son and another boy were fighting. I just about beat him. Didn't even ask what was going on or why. I pulled both of them down and found the other boys parents. I was pleased to see that they were just as pissed as me. Both boys spent the rest of the night next to mom.

My kids went to a party over the weekend. It was for family. 2 things: 1 Even though I told the father there was a card with money don't forget to get it or lose it. The kid didn't get it. 2 There was a kid there that flat out lied to me about being allowed to ride on the back of a go cart. Grr. He would have been done for the day if it were up to me...but it wasn't!

Otherwise it was a pretty cool party.

After report cards I have a kid that has to study for at least one hour every day whither or not he has home work. Any zeros and he is grounded!

I am getting about 10 calls a day to sub for one of the schools now. I know its the end of the year and all but don't you think the last 6 weeks are just as important as the others? I know they say the kids check out this time of year but I think its maybe because the teachers do too.

I have been to 2 field trips in the last few weeks. They were both pretty neat. One to the science museum and planetarium and the other to the Stockyards.

The museum I am hoping that we can go back over the summer with all the boys. I think even the older ones will enjoy it. Its was mostly about gross body functions. Gas, vomit, sneezing, snot, poop, burbing. And because its for the kids it is mostly interactive.

• The Stockyards were fun too. I have been so many times I cant count them but we saw things I didn't even know were there.  The Cowboy museum, something they called the herd were we watched them tell us all about how they deal with the cattle and a mini cattle drive, and then the best part of the whole thing. It was a walking tour.  We saw a few of the buildings, the arena, the cat walk. We also got to see a live auction. It was pretty cool.

Woo Hoo!

• I got to go to the Ranger game last night! They lost :(
• I managed to get there and home! That's a big deal for this directionally challenged girl.
• Holly Hell Pudge is still hot.  His son too (so I was informed).
• I must have a thing for catchers because right now Napoli is my favorite and I would so marry him! He he.
• Back to the game.  I was so excited to see Pudge.  I cant believe he is retired though. He has been playing for as long as I can remember going to the games as a kid.
• Nolan Ryan spoke of course and told stories about when they first started playing together. Others spoke as well and then Pudge got up there and said thanks to everyone alot.  He rode around the field in a convertible and that was it.
• Well except when it came time to throw the first pitch. I had said they should have him catch it! They did change places but instead of him catching he made the throw to second.  It was pretty and looked like it took no effort from him at all.
• Pudge has 3 children. I had no clue. And of course his wife is very very beautiful.
• We decided last night at the game that my cousin (the one the went with me) could marry his son and I would marry Napoli. 
• That being said I booked my wedding today!  June 17th at 6:oo pm in a garden chapel.
• I still haven't found a dress yet.
• I still haven't talked to my fathers about both of them giving me away.
• And I still don't know for sure how many people are going to be going.
• I know I need to get busy.

Life and stuff

• So I had more to say last week about my kiddos 13th birthday but never had the time and now I cant seem to remember but I wanted to say :(
• Things around here have been somewhat the same.  Busy as hell and crazy.
• They boys baseball is going the same as always. The younger one losing and the older ones winning.
• While watching the older ones play I heard someone say this is the stacked bport team. I almost laughed at them. Its true though. We have almost all the really good players. We cant help the other coach drafting would say that's a really good ball player and then pick someone else.
• There are at least 5 kids that will play college ball and one that has the potential to go father than that.
• Man can he pitch!  He already has 4 maybe 5 pitches and boy can he place them.
• I love watching them play.  Even though I don't get to as much as I would like.
• OH oh! I get to go to the Ranger game Monday and see Pudge retire! I am so excited.  When my hubby wanted the wed tickets again I was so mad but now he wants to trade and I get to tell him to F' off!
• I have a new hair style. Well sorta. I have had this hair cut before but it looks better than before. OH yeah its a new color too!  I know its crazy but I am also thinking about adding blue or turquoise to it.
• There is a guy in our group of friends that the guys are starting to leave out or completely ignore. It drives me crazy because its not something he has done but his girlfriend.
• I am not sure what to do about it.
• I am getting married in less than 2 months! I don't know why every time I think about it my heart pounds.  We have been common law married for 8 years.
• I am ready to have lunch with the girls again!  You want to let me know when you have the time?
• I kinda like the new look to the blogger thing.

Oh my..

• My baby is 13 today! I am having more trouble with this than with my own birthday.
• He happens to be grounded on his birthday. :(
• He got in trouble at school this week and it wasn't the first time. The first time we heard about it though.
• I have more but I have to go to baseball practice so it will have to wait.

Freaking Sprint Wireless....

I am so pissed of right now. For 3 almost 4 weeks now my phone has not worked. Well let me rephrase that. It hasn't worked in Bridgeport. It takes forever to make a call and then when I finally get the call to go through it drops after 2 mins. It takes even longer to get the calls to through to customer service. The call aways drops, and they keep asking what problem I am having. One lady called me back 5 times before she finally realized I was telling her my phone kept dropping calls. I have called them at least 3 or 4 times every week. They keep telling me we have fair service and they will send someone out to check it but there are no outages in my area. I have had 3 work orders and spoken to several supervisors and it seems they keep passing me of and just not responding. I have had enough. Today the lady tells me there has been a tower out since March 22nd. I have had enough. Either they fix it or I am changing service. I don't understand them. We have 5 phones with them and our bill is almost 300 a month and I have a crazy ass husband that like to upgrade all the time. I would like that outside of businesses we are their favorite kind of customer.

Life and stuff...

• Happy Easter! I know it is late. I hope you had a great one. I did.
• My family had a hunt and lunch on Saturday. Along with all the eggs the kids found a snake!
• It wasn't a poison one but it was killed anyway :(
• I don't like things being killed unnecessarily. That includes big creepy snakes.
• I didn't get to have lunch either. That was my own doing though. The hubby and I went to the Rangers game.
• I really thought they would win but lost in the 9th.
• Monday was a long night.
• I made dinner at 4 and it was off to Alvord for baseball.
• The game were not that good.
• The first one my kiddo's team lost. It was bad. That just couldn't get an out. Poor kids. My son did play really well though. He stopped most balls that came to him (and the surrounding area) and there were quite a few. He was even throwing the ball to first which I was happy to see them do something other than run the ball back to the pitcher.
• They lost so bad the last inning they just let everyone bat once.
• The older boys game was just he opposite.
• After the boys had gone through the line up the coach stopped letting them steal bases. They could only take one base every batter no mater where the ball was hit. The boys were told to swing at everything. He was stealing home plate while the catcher had the ball in his hand.
• Twice the catcher let the batter jog all the way to the plate. The other coach finally told him to watch and tag the guy out as he came.
• The second inning we pitched a kid that doesn't even practice pitching. We let them get a few too many runs though because we should have run ruled them and it be over after that one.
• There were 5 mins left in the allotted time and the blue wouldn't call the game. It was 23 to 5! We ended up playing until 10 o'clock.
• It pissed the coach off and he told the boys to only swing at the good ones and get the hits. They were still only aloud one base but they were going to hit. Final score 27-5.
• After the game the kids were hungry again so they didn't get to bed until well after 11 on a school night. I wasn't really happy.
• Oh funny thing...my oldest was bobbing his head and moving his lips every time he came up to bat. The first time we were all like what is he doing? Turns out he was singing to get us all out of his head. By the end of the night he was jamming with his whole body. He couldn't stand still for nothing and even some of the team got into it singing from the bases as he batted.
• Oh and it didn't stop until he made it all the way around to home plate :)
• The ex pulled another no show for that game too. At least he was honest and didn't give a bullshit excuse.
• The Oh shit I forgot was completely real and the kiddo was much more forgiving this time.
• If it happens Friday though I might need some bail money.

Late night..

• So waiting until the last minute to finish laundry is not always a good idea for me.
• I decided I would wait and wash all the jeans in one load. I ended up putting every pair of my husbands work jeans in the washer about 11 last night.
• Which I do all the time but usually he has a least one pair in the closet for work the next day. (I have been busy and forgot about his clothes...oops)
• Well at one when I went to put them in the dryer it started making this terrible noise. And then the little fan thing that moves the air around wouldn't turn at all.
• No way was a pair of his jeans going to air dry before he had to be at work.
• At 1:30 last night I pulled the dryer away from the wall and started pulling it apart.
• I dug all the stuff out fan thing that had fallen down the lent thing when I pulled it out to clean it. Apparently I am the only person in the house who knows how to remove lent from the filter.
• Anyway...I found 2 small pencils, a few air soft pellets, candy wrappers, and a tooth! Yes I said tooth. One of my wonderful children after loosing a tooth put it in their pocket and it got sucked down there. YUCK!
• So I put the damn thing back together and put back where it belongs and try to turn it on. It wont start. I am about to lose it when I pull it out and realize I forgot to plug it back in :)
• All is well with world of laundry now but I wont be washing all the jeans in one load any more.

Life and stuff...

• Baseball opening day was this weekend.
• Only one of 5 of our boys stuck out. Not bad.
• One of the little ones games was not so great. They were not trying to get outs at all. They we just getting the ball back to the pitcher. Not even throwing it but running it in. It was terrible to be honest.
• It was a fun time though. And the weather was nice for most of the day. I ended up a little red but not fried like usual.
• We had a BBQ after. It was a great time with great friends. We mixed our groups of friends..old with the new.
• It was interesting to see one of the couples around a baby. I am now really excited for them to have a child of their own. I have always thought they would make great parents but now I cant wait to share their joy for one of their own.
• Off subject for a second...Crazy ass weather today. We are getting rain because I washed my car yesterday for the first in months...many months.
• A friend or ours said some stuff that kinda hurt my feelings this weekend. It pissed my husband off. She didn't say it to us though.
• It had to do with the BBQ and bringing stuff. If she didn't want to she shouldn't have asked. Even though asking was the right thing to do.
• We have these get togethers and cook outs at least 3 or 4 times a month. It only seems right that we all share the cost of them . She doesn't see it that way.
• My hubby handled it and lets just say he is not graceful or nice about much.
• Now I need to talk to her to make sure she knows we don't hate her...
• I cant wait for this next weekend. Baseball starts!!!!!!! We had opening day seat but ended up having to sell them because the hubby cant get off. Sat. will be a busy day because we have family Easter that morning and then a game that night!
• My older boys also have ball practice. I think I will miss that one. Me not them :)
• I am really frustrated with my sons father.
• The last time he was at his house he had practice and he decided he didn't want to go so he didn't make him. So this weekend we kept him home until after pictures and the game.
• The ex called and asked what time and if he wanted him to come watch him and if he wanted to still come for the night. My kiddo said yes and waited all day for him to show up.
• He never did. When he called late that night the kiddo didn't even want to talk to him.
• We didn't hear from him again until last night. The conversation didn't go well and when I told him he had practice and he couldn't miss it he got pissed and hung up on me.
• I have never had these problems with him before and I am not sure how to handle them. I hope they don't turn into something bigger.

Over the Weekend!

I turned 30.
For my birthday we went out with friends to diner and a movie.
The Hunger Games was ehhh...I was really disappointed with it. My hubby hated it and one friend uttered "Twilight all over again"
It was better than what they thought but it just seemed to miss so much for me.
And they completely changed some some things. I even thank at some point I actually said "WHAT?" in shock.
I had lunch with my parents and sister and went dress shopping after.
People I haven't even told I was getting married have been talking to my mom about going to the wedding.
I am not complaining though. I love my family and would love to share this special day in my life with them. My step sister will also be attending. I amsuper excited!
The hubby art up to much for one evening and had to cancel on some friends. I felt super bad. He tried to make me call and cancel but I wouldn't do his dirty work for him.
STAR Test this next week. I am nervous for my children.
I dont think we are suposed to have baseball practice this week but we are because opening day is soon and the rain canceled the last few.

Ok I need some sleep.

This is Kolby's splinter we had to go to the doc to get out.

This one is the after. Where his foot turns white is how big the swelling was. After looking at the doctor notes he changed the nurses splinter to a puncture wound.

This is part of my front yard. I learned how to use a tiller yesterday. I managed all by myself today. I hope I didn't kill my trees! The hubby came home and leveled it out after so I could seed it. I tried for hours but I am not very good at it. It only took him about 45 mins. Our yard was terrible. Weeds and patches of hard packed dirt(the kids couldn't even dig in it). I hope this makes it better. If so we will be don't another section of it soon. Its a lot of work.

This was on the wall the week I subbed. I had forgotten about until today. I don't usually go for the inspirational quotes but I really like this one. If you never leave your comfort zone you never know what could be or happen.

Do you remember the woman arrested for falsifying information about her toddler being ran over in a hit and run. She is my neighbor. My MIL asked if I had seen her around. Before that I had no idea it was her. There were always kids and the end of the drive and in the road. I always thought they shouldn't be there but there were always adults out watching. If I could hear them out when leaving I would walk to the end of the drive so I would know where they were. It is terrible. After thinking about it for a while I haven't seen either of the women that I used to see there all the time or the children. I even remember thinking they moved because I didn't see anyone at the house for a long time. :(

Its my Birthday Week!!!

• Spring break is over and the kids are back at school.
• We did some spring cleaning last week.
• While we were doing all of that a piece of wood was dropped in the hallway and one of the little ones stepped on it.
• We had to go to the doctor to get it removed. He was so set on that fact it was going to hurt he screamed the whole time and it took 3 of us to hold him down. The doc numbed it before removing it.
• After that bandaged it up he jumped down off the table right onto that foot. When I told him not to do that his reply was "Why it doesn't hurt!"
• My SIL was in town and the boys had baseball practice other than that we didn't do anything. It felt kinda weird and flew by way to fast.
• The older boys had practice on Sat. One of them didn't show up :(
• He was at his other parents and they let him get away with not coming.
• I am royally pissed at both of them.
• He then had the nerve to call and ask me to take him to a birthday party he wanted to go to. Ha.
• Next time he will be waiting until after practice to leave for the weekend.
• I got a new phone and lost all of my contacts because I cant see the screen on the other at all any more.
• Before you ask if or why I get a whole week for my Birthday let me just tell you!
• I get a whole month for my birthday! All the women in my family do. We just need to get our husbands on board....some of them are but I keep having to tell my husband.
• My mother started it years ago. She started get her birthday presents early. It started at just a day or two early but each year she kept getting them earlier and earlier. My step father being the wonderful man that he is no mater what she had already gotten believes you should always get something on your birthday too. Now she gets at least one present every week during the month of her birthday.
• Of course we were happy to have her pass this along to all of us. Now we encourage each of our husbands to follow along. We wish each other happy birthday months, weeks and days!
• Of course I try to pass the along to my friends as well because I think every woman should be so lucky!

Blah..

• It's spring break and I have the I don't want toos!
• My SIL and her family are moving out of state and stopped by for a few days on their way out.
• I love those little kids and I sure am going to miss them :(
• The hubby is pushing the whole plan what we are doing for our wedding but he doesn't want to give and usable help...grrr.
• It doesn't help that I don't really want to plan it.
• I have it narrowed down to 2 places. We are going to Vegas but I have found a winery about an hour from the strip that is really pretty. My only hook up on it is : Its an hour away. Isn't the whole reason of going to Vegas so you don't have to do all that fun stuff? The other is a gazebo about 20 mins from the strip.
• I need to shop for a dress and my mom asked me about going this week but I don't really want to go. I have the blah's.
• My kids say the funniest stuff sometimes and I always mean to write it down so I can put it on here but I never remember to. It happened today. Its driving me nuts that I cant remember.
• I have more stuff going through my head right now but it all seems so boring. So I am off.
