Lots of big News! (for me anyway)

  • Chele girlied me up for Ashely's Birthday!
  • Mani, Pedi, and lunch.
  • Yes I said PEDI! It was my first and those that know me know this is a very big deal.
  • Let me tell those of you who don't know me why. I HATE FEET! I don't like other peoples feet and I don't like mine. I freak when people touch me with their feet. I freak when people touch my feet. That even goes for the hubby. Its a big no no. Even in bed when he/I want to cuddle the feet are off limits.
  • I only freaked out a little. I tried really hard for no one to notice. The girl doing it only had to ask if I was ok a few times and laughed at me a lot.
  • That was the second day in a row I spent with my Chele. I loved it.
  • I have been happy lately. I have found happiness by doing stuff for me instead of for everyone else. Living for me. Thinking of what I would like before what everyone else would.
  • Hanging out with friends that I love.
  • I like it and it looks good on me.

  • I am going to be 30 next month. Some days that bothers me others not so much. Its just a number.
  • I actually know what I want for my birthday this year.
  • One of those coffee makers that you put the water in and then add the single package things and it makes one cup at a time. Keurig?
  • And to see the Hunger Games movie. It comes out the night before my bday. I am so excited!
  • I read those books at Christmas and still think about them. I am not sure if it is because I loved it so much or if I am just emotional about crazy stuff that's not even real.
  • Oh I love Taylor Swifts new song for that movie. Its so not her usual stuff.
  • Safe and Sound. A link because I couldn't be bothered to figure out how to put the video in here.
  • Off topic but oh well- Scotty McCreey's voice doesn't go with his baby face.

  • I am going to Vegas to get married June 17th! (maybe this one should have been first?)
  • I am already common law married and have tons of kids but we are making it official.
  • He is pushing it. We just decided to do this and then he says he wants it in June. I need to hurry and get things done. We picked out a ring for him and the tux he wants. Since its in Vegas I don't have to plan to much. No bridesmaids or groomsmen.
  • Most chapels have wedding packages that come with flowers but I want lilies in it so I will be ordering them.
  • That being said anyone have any recommendations for a good chapel?

  • Oh yea I had a great Valentines day. Hope you all did too.
  • The hubby got me chocolate covered strawberries.
  • They looked like roses, were huge, and really fresh (even though the delivery guy left them outside without knocking to let me know they were even there).
  • They were awesome!
  • The hubby said they were guaranteed to be fresh. The company orders tons of strawberries and picks out the biggest and best and then donates the rest to shelters and soup kitchens.

Old Post..

Some of my post are missing? I don't know what happen to them. My blog goes from September to January. Any one know what happen? Did this happen to anyone else?

Pizza Hut...

Geeezzz...

This is the second time we have been there and received terrible service. We wouldn't have gone back this time but some friends of our wanted to eat there. We can order pizza and have it delivered in 30 mins but when we go there to eat it takes 30 mins to just get drinks. Here is the list of complaints for tonight:

  • The guy said"(Sigh) I guess I can put some tables together for you. (Sigh)"

  • We order dinner and wait and wait and wait some more. I understand that we had a big party(12) but really?

  • Our food starts to come out. One of the boys gets his wings then five minutes later some of the other stuff starts coming out.

  • 20 mins after the first plate comes out 3 people at the table still do not have food.

  • The drinks never get refilled. I even had to go ask when we were getting some of the food and that our drinks need to be filled.

  • Twice I asked for drinks to be filled and then we canceled one of the orders. Finally my husband went to complain.

  • We had to wait for my oldest sons food so that we could leave. Everyone was done already.

I guess the good thing about Pizza Hut is even though their waiters suck their managers try to help in anyway they can. Both times we received our meal free. However we will not be going back by choice.

Sad...

I have been really pissy this week. I know it and I am trying really hard not to be but damn every little thing gets on my nerves.

The hubby got off work early and wanted to play golf. I didn't want him to and he did it any way.It wasn't really that big of a deal but man I was pissed at him for it.

The Kids yelling and screaming,I thought I was going to pull all of my hair out. Then poor Kolby sat next to me at dinner and wouldn't stay in his chair. He was bouncing around and ending up slamming his head right between my eyes. He felt really bad and normally I would have smiled and said it was ok but I couldn't take any more. I put my plate up and walked away. After I calmed down I kissed and hugged on him. By the time the little ones were in bed I was done for and went to bed.

I cried that night and have been at the drop of a hat. I cant seem to get it all out. Its wording me that I may have over done the whole "I am over being depressed thing." I decided a few weeks ago I was no longer depressed and it was going to be a mind over matter thing. I seem happy and I do more now but I am afraid that this uncontrollable crying is my way of saying that is really not going to work. :(

Edit***geez that was terrible. I cant believe that I published that. I could hardly figure out what I was and I wrote the damn thing. Maybe next I will read it before I post :)

Tit babies....I swear.

My husband and his friends are the biggest tit babies ever! They play golf every Sunday (well ok not every Sunday, sometimes its raining or way to windy/cold, but most). This Sunday they were playing and my hubby hates to lose. And he got his butt kicked when they were playing scramble. One of the guys was giving him shit, and lots of it. The hubby got really pissy and wanted to play singles. So they did and the other guy well lets just say while trying to out do the hubby had a really bad game. Well for the two holes they played because when he got pissy with my hubby, my hubby came home. He was done. After me telling my hubby that they were both being "whiny ass babies" because neither one of them like to lose and that's not really a reason to stop being friends he decided he should call him and they gave each other shit for the next few hours. It was all better by game time. Now I keep hearing these phone calls and text about vaganoses and changing tampons.

Unrelated not to this: We wanted the 49ers to win. We had to cheer on the man from B'port. The friend went to school with him. Since the Cowboys sucked it up it seemed like the team to go for. Too bad they fail!

Things that Irk me..

  • When people put their dirty laundry on facebook. Ok I understand you are having problems but that doesn't mean you need to share it on facebook. Look what you are teaching your children.

  • When children put your dirty laundry on facebook...hello if you air it out to the world then why shouldn't they?????????

  • Your hastiness with facebook status. I mean really you should give your decisions time to settle before you change it and anounce to the world you are spliting. I mean yes I am used to seeing it go from married to single every other month but damn really?

  • Everyone gets up late and its my fault. There are only 5 alarm clocks in this house. .I know. I know its part of being the adult. Sometimes I just don't want to be.

  • When my kids just expect me to know they are out of tooth paste..I mean because I use their tooth paste and all.

  • When come over to the house and leave their trash everywhere. I am not a maid. I don't clean up my own children's plates, cups, or trash. I make them do it. You can clean up after yourself.

  • That my seven year old can beat me at some of the xbox games. Not only can he win but he can talk mad trash too. He is way better at it than me. I cant help but laugh :)

  • My husband thinks he needs the best of whatever the hell he wants. I don't see the point in paying for a bigger one when the one we have works great and anything bigger will take up too much room that we don't have.

  • He also thinks he need new golf clubs. At least one every 2 months it seems. I am determined not to allow him the next one. Its just dumb and We need to save money not spend every dime we get. (Not yet anyway. We still have kids to put through college. After that he can spend every dime.)

  • There is more but I feel better now so that's good enough for me :)

Things being said...

...by my children!

Well first off let me just say my husband has the mouth of a sailor. For a while I thought I would talk like him just to show him how much he uses really nasty words. Well then I got to much in the habit and was using it when I wasn't around him, so that had to stop. Not that it worked anyway because no mater how many shit, damn, fuck, and whatever else I could squeeze in he could always add a few to it.

We were all playing the Kinect. My oldest son was changing stuff up so he would do better and my hubby says " Don't be a pussy, just hit the ball."

My six year old (my sweet little baby) is sitting next to me and the they rhythm of na-na-boo-boo says "Pussy. Pussy. Pussy!" I almost died! That dang kid will repeat anything until you tell him its a bad word, then he wont ever say it again.

This is the exchange I had with my sweet little 7 year old after drawing a wanted poster of a crazy looking lady. I had labeled it as myself and my crime was too many kids.

Kolby: Are you saying we make you crazy?

Me: Yes! That's exactly what I am saying.

Kolby: No we don't. That's just you.

Me: Are you saying I am just crazy.

Kolby: Yep! That's what I said. You're a crazy lady.

My kids also love music and we get alot of random lyrics.

  • I am sexy and I know it.

  • I kissed a girl and I liked it.

  • Shaking my hips like yeah.

and one of my favorites while we are walking through the store (and since these are my children they don't really have an inside voice)

  • I like big butts.

All of those things being sang in the songs are not so funny but it usually only comes with one line.

Did you say it was time to update my damn blog?

Ok! Ok! Here it is. I have not been busy. Well some of the time I was but mostly I just kinda got bored with my computer and haven't really played with it much.

  • So I got my van fixed. I was worried they were going to total it at first.

  • It took them a month well almost. To get out there and look at it and fix it.

  • That was fine with me though because I had a really nice rental van. I didn't really want to give it back.

  • That being said, I am looking at new vans very soon. :)

  • My current one had problems just after Thanksgiving.

  • Thanksgiving was spent with my husbands family mostly. I didn't even get to see my mother :*(

  • I did enjoy it though.

  • I finished my Christmas shopping well before it actually got here so that was a plus for me.

  • I cried though while Christmas shopping. I had to move up to the big boys section for one of my babies. I was not happy about it.

  • It was a good one and I didn't even spoil my children too much!

  • On of my kids has almost $600 though. He asked for money. Most of the time I don't even pass that along on their Christmas list but he wanted it for something specific and stated so. His aunts/ and grand parents were more than happy to help him out, but that's about all he got for Christmas.

  • He wants an Iphone 4s. The upgrade for his phone is due in March. He not only has to pay for the phone but any extra that it cost for the plan.

  • Seems fair to me and he is super happy.

  • My holidays were spent running all over the place. I was happy for them to be over. Good times for the most part though.

  • I received a Kindle fire, that I absolutely love. I read 5 books in less than a week.

  • My husband doesn't really like that present any more :)

  • Also new is the X box with he Kinect. It took the kids going back to school before I got a chance to play on it but I LOVE it! It is so much fun and a good work out.

  • We have started a kinda diet around our house. The boys hate it. We cut out most of the red meat and since that's all we ever ate its a big change.

  • I have also cut the Dr. Pepper out. That's the big one for me and since the hubby didn't agree to it. Its kinda a problem but he will get over it...or at least I hope so.

I know its been forever...

  • That's my van. :( A lady pulled out in front of me. Still waiting to see how much damage was done.

  • I have a rental that is so much nicer than mine. I hate that because I already don't want to give it back. The kids feel the same way.

  • PeeWee football has started. I don't have any children playing but my husband is coaching. Only one coach for our team has a kid playing on the team.

  • I find that kinda funny but I like it. There isn't any "Daddy coaching" going on.

  • I will be there weekend working. I kinda like it but I kinda wish it wasn't an all day thing.

  • My older kids are playing football for the school. The oldest is on the freshman team. Man their game was terrible last night. The best game so far this year was Springtown. It ended in a tie.

  • It was the best game because not only was it fun to watch but we had a blast in the stands. We sat with a group that did alot of yelling. By the end I was having trouble talking.

  • The other two I have only seen play once so far. I missed this weeks game because it was too far. Its hard to travel to far on a school night and still get the other kids homework done and in bed.

  • They were both on the B team but one got to move up to A team.

  • He was really excited and I am excited for him. He always seems to have to work harder than the others.

  • My oldest son come home with a logic puzzle for homework and now I am addicted. I keep going back. Printable-puzzles.com

First day of School.

  • The kids are off to school. They all did great.

  • I dropped the big ones off at the door. The little ones I walked to their class room but it wasn't time to go in so I left them sitting in the hall.

  • They were extremely happy to do so :(

  • The oldest one I was nervous for. It was his first day of high school but it seemed like just another day for him.

  • I wont get to ask him about his day until late tonight because its also his first football game and they are playing in Glen Rose.

  • I hate that because there is no way I can go that far after school on a school night. The kids would have a really hard time with getting into bed on time.

  • My babies aren't babies any more :(

Ok this is just me bitching ....

I am capable of taking care of my children. Yes on occasion I do forget some things but when it comes to my children I am pretty on top of things.

  • SO yes I took them to get their shots.

  • No I couldn't register him before he had them and the doc office wouldn't give them to him until after his birthday but thanks for calling to check on it after I already told you that.

  • Yes I made sure my child did his summer project. Notice there wasn't an s at the end of that? That's because there was only one. Yes he told me others were talking about another one too but I can only call and go to the school so many times before they think I am a loon. At which point I am just going to have to trust them that there was only one project for him and his friends were talking about another class.

  • Yes we picked up his laptop for school.

  • No it will not work with our wireless but he can plug it in and it works just fine. Its fine just like that because we don't really want him on the internet in his room anyway.

  • Yes I called the school about the wireless part but I assume they are really busy getting all the classrooms and computers ready for school right now and do not have the time to deal with home issues.

  • Yes I know today they are giving schedules out. No its not only in the morning. Its from 8-3. That means I can go any time between 8 am and 3 pm. That doesn't mean I have to go when you want me to.

  • No the oldest one cant get his schedule right now he has to wait til tonight when his school is handing them out.

  • Just because I don't do things on your time doesn't mean I need you to call me or my husband to make sure it gets done or for you to gripe at me about it. We will do things when we want to do them.

  • SO when I stop taking your calls don't be upset. I just don't want to hear you any more :)

Horrible...

All I have thought about all day is the loss of an 11 yr old boy. My first thoughts were was this an accident? Could a boy that young think life is so bad to take such extreme measures? This was an accident. I have been assured it but I cant help but wonder how this could happen. I have cried off and on through out the day. I knew this boy. He played football with my children. His father helped coach my boys. I watched him cross the road everyday after school while I waited for my boys. This is a good family and a good kid. How could this happen? This has been ruled an accident but what happens now? My tears stream as I think of the struggles and the pain that lay ahead for this family.

This just isn't supposed to be...

Life and stuff and complaints...

Dear Stupid People of the World,

Please stay away from me and off the other end of my phone. I dont know how much more of you I can take.

Thank you :)

  • So I came about 2 inches from needing a new car today. A big moving truck backed out right in front of me. The new car I could deal with. The harm that would have come to the child sitting in the seat next to me not so much.

  • I need to see the eye doctor. My eyes have always been not so great but now they are getting worse. :( I hope that's not age talking to me.

  • The people at the repair center for our phones...well lets just say geezzzzzzz. First they give the phone to someone going on vacation and he leaves it on his desk. Then they finally give it to someone else who put it at the end of their todo list. After a month and a half I told them to fix the phone and send it back by the end of the week.

  • They sent the phone back unrepaired because I demanded it be returned...UHH they missed the part about it being fixed first.

  • Its to damn hot outside. My air has been running non stop for several days now and its set on 84. I don't think I am going to like my next electric bill.

  • My oldest started 2 a days. Its not really 2 a days though. They only go once in the late evening. He seems to really like it but he has been really tired after.

  • They had a parent meeting that was really just a sort we want you to behave at the games and practices, join the booster club, and show off our new stuff.

  • It did make me realize how fast my children are going up. That once he starts this year things fly by. This is the time he becomes a young man and begins so many new things and starts to really spread his wings.

  • All of this has me sad and scared at the same time. Its really hard not to cry.

  • I had to register the kids for school. They wouldn't let me for one of them though because he hasn't had his shots yet...Well he isn't old enough to get them yet so why does the school require them for registration when the state says he cant have them until his birthday or after? I have to wait to register him when he gets his shots.

  • We are getting a new dog in the morning. He will be a 2 year old English Bulldog. The hubby and kids are really excited.

  • Me not so much. I have been saying over and over that I don't want any new pets but I guess what I want doesn't really matter even though I am going to be the one that has to care for it after the new wears off.

  • On the bright side of my life-

  • school clothes are done,

  • I have folders which I can never find for supplies,

  • the house has gotten almost a spring cleaning,

  • I have lots of shirts to donate, and

  • school is about to start so the kids will get some time away from each other and I will have more time for adult interaction.

  • OK thats it! I feel a little better now :)

Its been a long while...

  • We have had a pretty good summer. I don't know if its because I feel like I have nothing to share/say or if I have been to busy but I haven't posted anything in what seems like forever.

  • We have been cooking out with friends alot this summer. That gets really expensive. I have had to cut back on that.

  • My kiddo's ear infection is all better. It took two weeks. Then we set the appointment for new tubes.

  • He got them yesterday. They also removed his adenoids??

  • They stuck a tube down his throat for that. (while he was sleeping) All went well and he is a happy little guy. The only problem is he has a nasty sounding cough.

  • On the 4th my little ones were with my cousin and her husband. The little one was playing on the golf cart doing ninja moves. Can any one guess how that ended up? Yep he ran over her husband. :( Poor guy.

  • He now has a "I am going to run you over with a golf cart!" look and photo. Thanks Chele!

  • We also cleaned bed rooms. I cant believe how much junk we got rid of. Some went to the trash and some was given away. They now only as many toys as their two toy boxes can hold. I am one happy momma.

  • To young mothers of little children. As they get presents for birthday and Christmas I suggest that you open a few, place a few in the closet for later when they are doing something really nice or special, and return a few. Use the money to place in savings for them or to take them somewhere special.

  • The little ones went with my uncle camping for a week. I really missed them. They had a blast and would have stayed with him forever.

  • My youngest one has started to whine every time he doesn't get his way. It really pisses me off and I may need a padded room....that serves alcohol.

  • The other little one has started talking back....make that a padded room, straight jacket and lots of alcohol.

  • Oh yea my cousins daughter came and stayed with us too. That was fun. She hasn't been here much since she can drive now. She has become a young lady.

  • We talked about her going to college (in Hawaii) and what she wants to do with her life. She was my first baby and isn't supposed to be all grown up.

  • I am almost done with school clothes shopping! Just the two little ones to go and I hope to have it done by the end of the week :) I am super excited about it. Oh yea Old navy has some really cute tee for boys right now.

  • Thats all I have for right now. I need to do lunch.

Tuesday, June 28, 2011

  • So what have I been up to?

  • Not a whole lot. Going Crazy. I mean absolutely crazy.

  • My kids are keep picking at each other and then one gets hurt or whines all day.

  • Since swim lessons I don't know that we have done much.

  • All the kids got sick. Well all but one. And then one got not one but 2 ear infections.

  • It was so bad you couldn't even touch the outside of his ear. He cried and cried. I took him to the family doc but that didn't help much.

  • We ended up at the ENT. I had to cancel one appointment for his hearing test to get him in a few days earlier for his ear infection. The doc said good thing too because he had a really bad infection. Antibiotics and ear drops for 2 weeks.

  • Still working on the meds but he is feeling much better. Thank goodness to because I couldn't take much more.

  • Other than that not to much has happened. Just hanging out with good friends and family :)

  • Oh yeah, our roof is leaking too. Thank you storms...

  • The insurance guy is coming to look at it tomorrow. That was a pain in the butt itself. When I first turned it in the guy said it doesn't sound like you have damage and our policy doesn't cover leaking.???? What? Would I really call if we didn't have damage? Would the roof really just start leaking out of nowhere after a storm if it hadn't damaged it?

  • They are sending the guy out and we are going to have to have a new roof. That will be fun. I might have thrown a fit. Just a little.

  • The big boys are at their other parents for a week :( I don't like it. I am going to miss them.

Woo Hoo!

  • Goo Mavs! Ok that's the only time I will do that.

  • We have been watching the games with friends. I couldn't really careless about them but my husband is a bandwagon fan.

  • Same with baseball. I tried for years to get him to go to a game and he never would.

  • I think it has to do with our current group of friends are sports nuts.

  • I do enjoy the fun and festivities though. I like having everyone over and the food is always good.

  • We haven't really had too much to do this summer.

  • We have had sick kids. We had the pink stuff for four different kids. It would have helped if he would have just given them the same dose but that would have been to easy.

  • We are going back to the ENT doctor this month too. The tubes have fallen out of my little ones ears. I kinda figured though because he is having trouble hearing again.

  • We had swim lesson last week. My husband aunt does them for free. I love her for it but it sure is a drive to Azle every day for a week.

  • The big boys still took them this year but this is their last. There isn't really a need for them to take up her class space she just wanted them to be able to swim a little since they have to sit and wait for their brothers.

  • The younger ones though did really well this year. Both are now swimming like fish.

  • I hate when someone tells you a secret that you really cant share with anyone else. Especially when you have so many questions about it.

  • The kids were told they have to clean their rooms today. I mean in the closet, under the bed, the toy boxes, everything. My husband laid they law down but I have to be the one to enforce it. That doesn't sound so fair to me.

Life

  • I have been ..I was going to say busy but that might be a lie :)

  • School is out.

  • The little one were driving me nuts within the first 2 hours.

  • I think it was because of the excitement.

  • The kids have adjusted well. Me ? still getting used to it.

  • I like to watch one show during the day and I have missed it every day since the kids have been out.

  • Its weird talking about summer when everyone elses kids are still in school.

  • I am still waiting on report cards for the older 3. I have a feeling the hubby isn't going to be pleased.

  • I have a little one that has been sick. He went to the doc today and hopefully will be his cheerful happy self soon.

  • His tubes have fallen out of his ears. I think he will probably have to get another set. We will see.

  • Oh yea a snake bit my husband while he was playing golf. It was crazy. They had to call about 5 different people to figure out what kind it was.

  • It wasn't poisonous. It didn't even have fangs. It had teeth.

  • I have heard of some snakes having teeth but I thought all snakes had fangs.

  • It was still crazy scary getting that call.

  • That's not the snake that bit him just a pic of one like it.

  • I haven't gotten the bill yet but I am sure it wont be pretty.

    What a game...

So 2 of my children had baseball games last night. For the youngest one it was his last one. Only about half of his team was there. The other team looked to be a little smaller than normal too. Really people? The kids seem to have more fun though. It didn't take as long to get through the innings and they didn't seem to get bored out in the field. It cracks me up when the slide into home. After one slide into home last night my little came up to me and proudly states "Look at my pants!" with the biggest smile ever. He is really going to miss tball and all the friends one the team.

The other game was my oldest. It started out kinda slow for them. The other team hit really well in the first inning and our boys didn't hit bad they just couldn't bring it all in. Then it picked up for them. Now I am not sure what the score was because I stopped counting the first inning. I do know that at some point the other team had 6 or 7 runs and we were down. Here lies the problem. I sit behind home plate most of the time and from one side I am hearing the score is 6-4 them on the other side I am hearing the score is 7-4 them. Time expires and we are finishing the inning. It was the bottom of the 4 inning we were up to bat when the third run comes in, they call the game(we still have a runner on 1st and one out left). We won. But then the coaches from the other team say no its tied up now. It knew this was going to happen. I could see it coming from a mile away. As the coaches are talking about it the umpire tells the boys to put up the mound (because it artificial) and the bases. So they do. There were alot of what must have been 5th or 6th graders there watching the other team (they had had a game earlier). They and the other parents were, for lack of a better word, unruly. They were upset, which is fine. They thought their children were being cheated but that anger and frustration does not need to be directed at the children on our team. They aren't the ones who keep score, nor the one that called the game. Well after all that they decide that they are going to playing. They get the mound and bases back out and the runner goes back to first. We have 2 outs. The runner steals second and the batter hits a pop fly to the out field. They miss the catch and it goes to the fence. Now the runner on second runs all the way to home. It isn't even going to be close. He crosses home and the other team starts screaming he didn't touch the plate. He goes back to touch it and now it is close and he is called out. First of all you can still see the cleat print on the plate where he touched it in the first place. Second of all the umpire was half way up the third base line. I don't know why the home plate ump would be there any way there were no close calls to be made any where but home. That's the second time the game should have been over but wasn't. At this point the kids in the stands were taunting the players. I have no idea how over time works in little league but the other team gets up to bat and the trash talk gets even worse. A mother even decides to join in. They score 5 and its our turn we only get 3. The game is finally over. Its now almost 11 on a school night and I am glad its over...even with the loss.

Now I would never let my children speak like those children were. I especially wouldn't allow them to taunt another child. And a parent joining in on all the "fun" just blows my mind. At some point enough needs to be enough. There came a point that I just had to walk away because I couldn't take any more. I had bit my tongue but I can only handle disrespect for so long. Even as I was walking to my car I could hear one of the boys saying "How do you like that?" "Whats up now?" to one of our team. Really? I don't think there was ever a time in my life that I wanted to slap another persons child more than that one right.

Dear young fans and that one special mother,
You were a disgrace not only to yourselves but to the team on the field. You should be ashamed of yourself.

    Life and Stuff..

    • Today was play day at school. It was so much fun to watch.

    • My favorite part is the tug of war. Man the teachers can get competitive about it too.

    • They didn't win. Their favorite part is in the pictures above.

    • So glad I (Alex begged me) remembered extra clothes this year.

    • I finally got a new phone. It has only been almost a month now.

    • It was a huge up grade too. Especially since I didn't even have texting on my plan before.

    • We have been really busy with baseball. We already had so many games we played 3 nights a week and sometimes there were double games. (2 of the boys teams played the same night)

    • With make up games and practices we have baseball every night for at least 10 days. I dropped the ball too because I completely forgot about 2 practices.

    • The hubby is finally back at work. He was off for a week and a half. I was going crazy. I need my quiet time and my girl time. I didn't get much of either with him home.

    • He is doing much better now too. He is still in a boot and still uses his crutches at work but at least he can get around.

    • He was in a wedding over the weekend and decided not to use either for it. Before the night was over his foot was black and huge.

    • That crazy shoe was worn by one of the bridesmaids.

    • Its almost summer. I cant wait (sorta).

    • We have to build some form of transportation again. This year we are going with a tank. Much simpler than the 18 wheeler.

    • I need to get busy with it because Thursday is coming quickly.

    • It seems we are getting out of school a few days (or weeks) earlier than some of the schools around us.

    • I don't know why some people think its ok for them to have whatever they want whenever they want it but its not ok for others.

    • Now I am too pissed off to even remember what I was talking about....

Edit: I forgot to add the pics. And why cant I get them to publish in the middle of the text?

    Soon

Ok so my hubby has been home and I have been busy but there will be a post tomorrow afternoon :) I have some fun stuff to tell!

    GRRRRR....

    • I just had to open that stupid email. Stupid stupid stupid!

    • I spent about 5 hours of my life trying to get rid of the virus.

    • It was a pain in the ass because it kept redirecting my browser.

    • We had baseball last night. They switched it up on me.

    • The ones that have lost every game won and the one that usually wins lost.

    • My hubby is in a wedding on Friday but he cant walk. It will be fun.

    • Yeah fun is the word.

    • I will add some more later but I have laundry to do.....

    Happy Mothers Day!

I love the women in my life that have helped me become the woman I am today. Thank You!

    Too fast...

    • What a day.

    • Went shopping.

    • Had lunch with my family for Mothers Day.

    • Saw Rio. Well sorta. The kids had to use the bathroom 20 times during it. Couldn't be because they kept getting refills during lunch.

    • Drove me crazy. I didn't really get to see the whole thing so my review isn't really worth anything.

    • It was...ok. Really predictable. I knew how it was going to end in the first five mins and it seemed to drag on even though its not really that long.

    • My favorite part was the music because my littlest one was dancing along. So sweet.

    • My oldest asked to dye his hair. He was shocked when I said yes.

    • I still made him call and ask his Dad. When he said no I told him to tell him I already said it was ok. Fine as long as its not permanent.

    • He wanted maroon but we couldn't find the temporary kind. I was going to get it any way but the kid said no. He is so good :)

    • My thoughts are: Its hair, we can always cut it off and it will grow back.

    • I also have the same thoughts about piercings.

    • He went with black. I don't have much confidence that it will wash out but its supposed to fade out in 28 washes.

    • He looks good and he loves it.

    • He also had 8th grade banquet(instead of graduation) tonight. Semi formal.

    • I cant believe he is going to be a freshman next year.

    • I had an OMG moment last week.

    • My 1st grader lost his first tooth. Yes his 1st one!

    • Someone asked how old he was and I guess it was the first time I said it but I was floored when I answered "He's 7."

    • He cant be that old yet :( and the baby will be six in just 2 weeks.

    • Big momma tears at the thoughts of my babies growing up so fast.

    • I am proud of them though :)

    Friday, May 6, 2011

I have been busy or maybe just lazy :)

    • Kolby just lost his first tooth. I am the worst mommy ever. The tooth fairy totally forgot to come :/

    • Alot was going on and I fell asleep on the couch and woke up late and just ran around telling everyone to get up. I got to his room and said everyone up. Stopped mid sentence and said oh no wait not yet....It was too late.

    • We had baseball games last night. 3 of them. They started at 6, 7, and 8. At least they were all here in town.

    • The first one was a beating. When a team is up by 24 they should just call the damn game....geez. The Tball one I didn't get to see because I had to go take care of the hubby. The last one was a good game but they lost and I didn't see the end of the game because again I had to go care for the hubby (aka the big baby).

    • The hubby got hurt at work yesterday. Fun stuff. He had really bad club feet when he was born and had a bunch of surgeries and stuff when he was little. His feet don't have the same flexibility as most. Walking along he stepped on something made his foot bend and it popped.

    • We spent a while in the ER having it x-rayed last night. Its not broke but he has to stay off it for a few days and they gave him a boot.

    • I found my camera! I was so excited I almost dropped the damn thing.

    • It was in my coat pocket. I looked there twice, even put it on and checked every pocket and couldn't find it. I needed it morning and put my hand in the pocket and there it was.

    • I washed my phone a few weeks ago. I still haven't gotten a new one yet! I have taken one of my boys. He hardly ever used it any way ;-) and he is grounded now too so whats the hurry. I am hoping to get an EVO for Mothers Day.

    • We have a possum running around/under our house. I am hoping to catch him soon or we are going to have to call pest control.

    • I am the catch and release kind and my hubby is the catch and kill kind. We differ on so much I don't know how on earth we found and fell in love with each other.

    • Hehe the hubby is snoring so loud right now he woke himself up! Its funny, yet annoying. I just want to go pinch his nose :) I know I am sweet like that.

    Sunday, April 24, 2011

    Yep again...

    • Happy Easter!

    • I have lost my camera :( This makes me really really sad.

    • I had all kinds of baseball pics on it too.

    • I actually cried tears over my lost pics.

    • Today my allergies killed me. I can hardly see and I cant stop sneezing.

    • I caught my hubby just staring and smiling at me twice today. I wonder what he was thinking. He really makes me feel special sometimes :)

    • Yesterday we had Easter lunch and hunt with my family. Today we were at the hubby's aunts for dinner.

    • I am sun burned. Well my neck is. I don't know why I can never remember my neck. One of the big boys didn't put any sunscreen on and he is burnt. I only feel a little bad for him because I told him several times to put on sunscreen on. He even answered me once and said he had. Little brat.

    • My uncle is getting a divorce. I really thought this would happen a few years ago. Their living arrangement kinda prolonged it. I only mention it because his soon to be ex has been around alot still.

    • I asked him about it when he was telling me about up coming parties. He is getting a divorce but he hopes that she can still be around for all the family fun (Easter, Christmas, ball games, and etc.). She enjoys herself and those things and he still enjoys her company, he just doesn't want to be married.

    • I think this is great and hope she can still be apart of our family :)

    • Have I ever mention how much I love my family? My parents, my sisters, aunts and uncles, and cousins. We are a close family. We are more than just family, we are friends. I hope that when our children are older they will be as good as friends as we are.

    • All this candy in the house is going to kill me :/ Every time I walk by I pick up a piece.

    • That's all because I am falling asleep.

    Life :)

•I had a good weekend. Friday we hung out and watched tv.
•Saturday I went to a birthday party. It was a 50's sock hop and the kids were so cute!
•I had a nice talk with a blog friend :) and family.
    •Good for the soul...and sanity.
•The kids had hair cuts this weekend well 3 of them anyway. My baby looks so much older when I get his hair cut :/
•Sunday all the bigger kids came home and the hubby went out and practiced some baseball with them.
    •What a beautiful day.
•Man my kids think they know everything. (this caused me to learn a few new rules to the game..you know the made up kind...just got tired of arguing about them and said ok whatever)
•One tells the other to get ready for the ball as he sits down in the dirt.
•My Mil is speaking to me again. She has found someone else to be mad at.
•I am still keeping my distance.
•I have been trying to sub more but its hard when I only want to sub at one school.
•Friday I went in and they didn't really need me so I did odds and ends. It wasn't bad and I know the teachers liked it. Well the ones I got to help anyway. Some were just so thankful for the help I may start stopping by there when I volunteer with my kids teachers.
•I put in a complaint with the school. When I get a reply and its over with I will have a special post just for it because man did the Middle School principle piss me off!
•That's it for now. Time to get moving

    Done and stuff...

    • The done post was about me being done with everything in general.

    • Done with the kids leaving everything in the floor.

    • Done with whining and crying about nothing.

    • Done with picking at each other.

    • Done with only half ass doing chores and causing a mess.

    • Done with cleaning up after everyone only to turn around and see it all messy again.

    • Done with an upset husband because the house isn't clean but he cant even put his dinner plate in the sink, or his shoes by the door or his spit can in the trash (yuck!).

    • Done with the kids thinking I am going to wash baseball uniforms that are stuffed in some dirty corner of their bedroom.

    • Done with trying to be in 20 places at once. Yes I have 5 kids. Yes I chose to have 5 kids. Sometimes so that all of them can play sports I need a little help because I cant be in three different cities at the exact same time.

    • I reached a boiling point and exploded.

    • I am better now though. Not much really changed but going in my room and not doing all the things I needed to be doing and taking 10 mins to myself gave me the time I needed to sort it all out :)

    • Don't get any of that wrong the hubby has been going to the games and even a practice or two after work. He just doesn't get home in time to help get them all the places they need to be.

    • Baseball was ok last week. One team won the other one lost....and there is Tball. It bores me to death!!!!!! The kids have fun and I watch it but man I would rather be watching a real game. Each player gets to hit the ball. 3 pitches and if they haven't hit it they put it on the tee. Then they run to first and stop. Each player does this and they move around the bases one base at a time until the last batter and then everyone still on base runs home. Then its the other teams turn. Its cute and fun to watch for the first inning or so but 3 innings is just a beat down.

    Done...

    I am done.............

    Thursday, April 7, 2011

    Sigh...

    • I love and hate facebook. I have been trying to look up an old friend but cant seem to find her. I mean there are people that come up in the search but I am not sure which one is her or even if any of them are her.

    • That same kind of thing. I sent a friend request to a guy and asked him if he was the person I was looking for and he accepted the request but didn't answer me. So now I have a friend but I am not sure if its the right one.

    • And I had a bright idea to look up an old boyfriend. Never would I even attempt to contact him. He was a bad one. I was shocked to see him on there. I do wish him happiness and I hope he is better to the women in his life than he was me.

    • On another note....

    • Baseball is going to kick my ass...

    • Almost every night of the week we have something going on.

    • By something I mean a baseball game. I have no idea how I am even going to add practices in with it.

    • I have so many plans for the next two months I don't know what I am going to do. I cant keep up with it all any more and I have started to plan the summer already.

    Continued....

    • my son went to a girls party last night. It felt weird dropping him off. He isn't supposed to be doing that yet.

    • Yesterday was long. They had the little one play back to back games. After the first one the kids were done and wanted to go home.

    • At one point in the first inning there were 4 kids sitting in a circle in the middle of the field. It made me smile.

    • Tball cute to watch but its like watching TV on a loop. The kid hits the ball the whole team runs after it. The batter trys to run all the way home and they stop him at first and about every fourth kids get lost on his way to second and ends up in the outfield.

    • Needless to say pictures and two games was way to much for my little guy.

    • The older three did really well. It was exciting to watch them play. One was walked and out after stealing third and over running the bag. The other two got to bat a few times. They had some good hits too:) I am happy they finally have the hand eye coordination to get a hit this year.

    • One had a bad call while up to bat and said something to the ump about it after that everything thrown at him was called a strike...even the one that bounced before it got to the plate.

    • I hate the game of golf...I hate even more that on Sunday morning all I want to do is snuggle up with my hubby and sleep late but he wants to get up and go play golf with his buddies.

    • I have more to write about but right now I need to go....

    Friday, April 1, 2011

    • My kids get ungrounded today. They were really happy to hear it.

    • Ones grades still aren't where I want them but they are getting better so its time to ease up a little.

    • The other one had better have learned his lesson.

    • Last weekend was interesting to say the least.

    • We went to a birthday party. It was paintball. Once I got over the whole kids are supposed to be grounded not here thing it was pretty fun. There were 2 parties of about 12 kids. The kids had a blast. The adults are going to go back some time.

    • When we got home it was a different story though.

    • We had that talk but it wasn't as I had planed. It ended well though and I feel better. Not perfect but much better.

    • I also lost a check book this week. That was fun. Panic mode. Called the back and canceled the whole book of checks. Went to all the stores I go to all the time and let them know if they got one back please call me and I would either pay cash for it or write another one that wasn't canceled.

    • I was surprised at how understanding they were.

    • I also went to the planetarium for a field trip. It made me sick. I had to close my eyes when they made the stars move.

    • The museums were really neat. I wish the kids would have slowed down a little so I could look at it all more. The hands on kids part was really neat. They had a blast.

    • We will be going back this summer. The kids will love it.

    • The internet is driving me crazy. It goes up and down all the time. Its never down for long just enough to piss me off and to disconnect the hubby's game. That doesn't go over very well.

    • Still not talking to the MIL. I had to have her help the other day. I was going to have a friend do it but the hubby asked her first because he thought I wouldn't.

    • He was right. I wouldn't have. I did swallow my pride and speak to her about what I needed to do. I have learned I can hold a grudge if I really want to. I don't like it though.

    • Opening day for baseball was supposed to be this weekend. They had to move it because they don't have uniforms yet.

    • All the games are going to be during the week. I think there are maybe 2 Sat. games. It kinda sucks because that is going to make having dinner hard.

    • Games will be Mon. Tue. Thurs. and Fri. No more than 2 each week for each of the boys but I am pretty sure that some games over lap and the others well makes me have games 4 nights a week. This kills any excitement I had about baseball.

    • Well except the Rangers games. I really want to go to a few this year. I hope we have the time.

    • Ok that's it for now...time to do some more laundry....sigh.

    Monday, March 21, 2011

Yep I actually uploaded my pics...

Fun on the beach! They played in the waves all day. Man were they cold too!
Yep Men can cook to. Who knew?

    Texas Sea Center
There were lots of big ships coming and going. Fun to watch.

Beautiful! The only sun rise I saw the whole time. (Man that felt good!)

    Vacation...

    • was a good time with good people.
    • We went to the coast. 3 families and 2 singles rented a beach house.
    • I know it sounds like alot of people for one house but there was plenty of rooms.
    • We were right on the beach (sorta, there was a grassy lot and a road between the house and the beach, but no one used the road because the only house on it was empty last week and the grassy lot made a great play area for the kids).
    • The beach was really nice for most of the week. The last 2 days not so much. I guess the tide changed? (the waves changed directions) It caused a bunch of brown stuff and jellyfish to wash up on the beach. Yuck.
    • It was really too cold to be swimming but the kids did anyway. They had a blast.
    • The older boys came and went as the pleased for the most part. Only had to let someone know they were leaving.
    • The best part is that because we were with other families with children ours had plenty of people to hang out with and didn't really fight the whole time we were there :)
    • I don't think we have ever eaten so much grilled food though. Chicken, steaks, fajitas, shish kabobs, hamburgers. The veggies were great. Nothing from a can, and nothing frozen. It was awesome and I learned a few new things for dinner :)
    • The kids at so many corn dogs I lost count.
    • We went to the Texas Sea Center and a little museum that I thought would be crappy. It was actually really kinda neat a much bigger than I thought.
    • We tried to go crab fishing without much luck but the kids had fun and managed to throw both nets completely into the water.
    • While there we ran into a rotten little boy that even the girls wanted to slap his little mouth.
    • We also went bowling. Now that was fun. All the little ones on one lane with bumpers, the big kids on one and the adults on one.
    • I thought that would make things easier and the adults game would move a little faster than the kids. Nope the kids smoked us.
    • I did break 100 on both games so I was proud of myself :) (yeah I know its still low but hey I am lucky to break 60)
    • The rest of the time was spent at the beach or for the boys fishing (oh yeah throw in some catch and football too, oh and golf for the men). Well except the evenings which included lots of laughter, too much alcohol, good friends, and cards.
    • We didn't plan a whole lot but I think that's what made it so much fun.

I will get my pictures on the computer and share a few sometime this week when I catch up and laundry and all the kids stuff.

    Its been a while..

As you know things have been weighing heavy on my heart. I decided that I would push them all aside and deal with them when we returned from vacation since we would be spending the week with two other families and a few single friends. To keep that much hurt, anger, jealousy (as some would say), wonder, and worry inside for so long is really hard to do. Its harder to let it all go and have a good time, and yet even more so to bring yourself back to reality and actually deal with it all. At one point I did give in and spill my guts to what used to be just a family friend. She is now more to me than that. That also led to a conversation between our hubbies while they played golf today. I had shared more than he had. I felt better after talking with her. She had words of wisdom and encouragement. I will let ya now next week how it all turns out (well unless it goes bad, then I might be here spilling my heart).

Is that light at the end of the tunnel...

    • or is it just another train wreck headed my way?
    • I am happy the women in my life (and a man or two) understand where my feeling are coming from because my husband sure as hell doesn't.
    • I thought it would make it better to vent and get it all out but man is doesn't.
    • He is trying though....well I think he is anyway...he may have just stopped telling me about it.
    • We have talked, alot. I am not sure he even feels like we have a problem or if its just in my head that there is one. My heart aches at the thoughts and worries I have so I know there is a problem. More talking and dealing to come but I can only handle so much at once. So I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers and good wishes.
    • The kids, well last week was a long one. One of them wanted to move out, stole his brothers money but didn't really..he really just sold his ipod, said some stuff he shouldn't have at school and then to end the week he thought it was a good idea to burn paper in his bed room. Yep that was the good kid!
    • I have no idea what got into him last week.
    • The one kid I always feel like I am getting on to didn't even make the radar last week.
    • One is still grounded for his report card and will remain in his room until he brings home a good progress report.
    • The little one doesn't think he needs dinner unless its hamburgers or we order out. Grrrr.... This battle stinks. I hate giving everyone but him dessert. He hold a grudge like no other. I almost think he is female.
    • The other one well he is bossy as all get out and threatens others if he doesn't get his way. Yea that doesn't go over so well with me.
    • The newest one (since some wonderful friends taught him what the middle finger means) "If you don't I am going to flip you off."
    • I don't spank my kids often but man they are really pushing the buttons...
    • I was dreading baseball starting but two boys had their first practice and it was great. I was excited to see some friendly faces from football. (we were all in agreement that we were still ready for football to start back up)
    • The fun is already beginning though. Those two and the littlest one have practice at the same time Thursday in two different places...ones not even in town :( Since I am avoiding my MIL like the plague I don't know how I am going to pull that one off.
    • The other coach I haven't heard from yet but he has talked to his friends at school to know who's team he will be with. Now just waiting on practices.
    • I have been cleaning like a crazy woman too. I mean windows, closets, drawers, everything. That's a long story in its self, but that's part of last week to. I do admit it was good for the soul and thinking time.

    Thursday, March 3, 2011

    Well....

I need to be found and dropped at the nearest crazy house. I can handle this any more.....

    Wednesday, March 2, 2011

    Life...

    • ...has gotten hard to say the least.
    • The hubby has a friend that I don't really like being such a close friend.
    • Its a new thing because she is having relationship problems. Now I don't mind them being friends but she is needy and calls him for everything. He is the type of guy that tries to help everyone, wants everyone to be happy. Well that's fine and all but a woman losing her man and needy...well lets just say I see problems coming. Not really from him but from her. He doesn't see it the same way I do.
    • I have more on that subject but it just makes me sick to even think of it so maybe another time...
    • That's not the only issue going on in my house. The two things going on together well I just cant handle it. I have cried for 2 days straight now. Its still not out because I still don't feel anything has been resolved and know there is more to come.
    • On top of that I am getting sick :(
    • Hello stress and worry. If anything else heads my way they are going to have to check me into the loony bin.

    Monday, February 21, 2011

    Life and stuff...

So this is just going to be more bitching about the pervious post so you can skip it if you want :) I just need to vent.

    • I love how I didn't say a word to my MIL about what is going on. I didn't even say anything to my hubby about it until he came home in a bad mood and pissed and asked me what I thought but this is still all my fault and I am the bitch.
    • While watching my kids play basketball we always sit together. Well when she came in she kinda sat with me but two rows up and about four seats down. I would have preferred her just not come near me if that's what she wanted to do.
    • I love getting dirty looks and glares from other members of his family. Really I do.
    • I told my husband this is going to go on forever because I am not just going to get over it. He doesn't see it that way. He says she will be mad at his sister in a week and forget all about him. That totally drives me crazy.
    • Sucky part about it is that I still have to ask for her help every so often because sometimes I need her to pick up the boys and keep them for about 15-20 mins after school.

    Thursday, February 17, 2011

I just cant get over now...

I wasnt pissed at first but then I got in a funk and now I just cant get over it.

My MIL who is always complaining that I am harder on one than the others and who is always on my hubby that I play favorites is the worlds worst. I have 5 boys, 2 his 1 mine and 2 ours. His 2 are welcome any time they ask or any time his ex ask her to keep them. She never and I mean never tells them no. The little 2 ask to go over there and the answer is not today maybe tomorrow or next weekend. She does always get them few a few hours when she tells them that. We used to ask her to baby sit the boys every so often (not much because well we have 5 boys) but mostly we try to make it where we only need a babysitter for 2 so its not so much work. Of course she lets the other 2 come from their mothers as well so she usually has 4. Well this weekend happens to be one of those weekends but one of the boys is staying home but his dad has to work this weekend. Well its a problem for her to keep him too because she is keeping one of the boys cousins and well you know the other 2 are coming because he is going to be there. Its fine for all of them to be there but adding one more is a major problem. If thats not favorites I dont know what is...She has always been that way and I noticed it along time ago but when the hubby came home asking about why one was staying home and if he had asked and we werent going to have a baby sitter any more I knew something was up. I wasnt pissed at first but the hubby was in a bad mood because of it and the more I thought about it the more it pisses me off.

    I had reason...

So I was nervous for a reason. The door get taken out and the hole in the wall cut to size and....the door fit but has 3 big dents in the door :( Off to Denton to get another one....well not me the guy installing the door because well I dont think the door would look very good on top of my mini van :/

    life....

    • Trying to keep myself busy right now. We are having a new door installed. The man has to cut out part of the wall.....Can you say nervous?
    • I also have this thing about giving advice about how something should be done. Man that really pisses my hubby off. I dont think it would make this guy happy either :)
    • Sports are coming to an end. This weekend is the last basketball game. I am excited and disappointed at the same time. The oldest one was going to run track but then all of a sudden he isnt any more. :)
    • I am not sure about baseball. My kids arent really great at it but love it and I love to watch baseball.
    • My husband has gone sports crazy. It started with football, then baseball (when they were winning he all of a sudden took interest and now loves it), then golf. He is even talking about getting the sports package for the tv...I dont think I could handle it.
    • We looked into half season tickets for the rangers. I was super excited but I am not sure we will be getting them. Kind of expensive for as many as we would need.
    • We have made some good friends lately. Not really new friends just hanging out more. I love it.
    • Valentines Day was nice...The hubby was almost sweet :) Sunday he came in from the store with flowers and a teddy bear....as he handed them to me he said "Here before I forget tomorrow is Valentines."...almost sweet.
    • My youngest one has already figured out how to play hookie. I am going to have to watch that one.

    Cold...

    • Wow... we have had a lot of ice and snow lately.
    • After being shut in with the everyone last week I was really hoping not to get any more ice this week.
    • Dont get me wrong last week was fun but I was ready for my peace and quiet.
    • I say shut in but we left at least once every day.
    • All last week we spent with some friends. Us there or them here. It was nice. Had dinner and played cards.
    • Doing the same tonight I think.
    • We had a ton of people over for the super bowl. The people we have been spending all our time with havent really seen me pissy. Well I was for a bit on Sunday.
    • It was everyone in the house and in my kitchen and me trying to get stuff ready. I just couldnt take it any more. When the kids started wrestling I kinda lost it. My poor kids.
    • One of the boys has 0's in one of his classes. I found them last Monday and he was grounded. Last week he got to not be grounded because well there wasnt anything he could do but he still has them so this week he stays grounded. The next few days will be hell for him and me :( He is the one that doesnt take the grounding you have to enforce it. It seems that I have to tell him to go back to his room every 10 mins.
    • Frustrated to say the least.
    • The hubby and one of the kids ordered some stuff online. They have been waiting on it to get here since last week. Its driving them crazy and kinda makes me smile inside because I said they should wait. :)
    • I hate that its so cold out....
    • I know I just cut this off but I have to go....

    Life is good :)

    • I had lunch with one of my favorite bloggers who isnt blogging any more and my cousin.
    • It was great. I am sure they were wondering when we were going to leave. We started before lunch rush and stayed almost till the end...maybe it was the end :)
    • It was so much fun! I cant wait to do it again.
    • This morning one of my little ones woke up with a stomach ach. Poor thing. His felt better and then all of a sudden he had fever. He is good now, sleeping peacefully on the couch...I am sure he isnt going to school in the morning.
    • I was supposed to sub too :( I was looking forward to it. I may still. He is plenty old enough to stay at home by himself. That may be a fight with the hubby though and well its just wouldnt be worth it.
    • My washer is leaking water :( It has been for almost a week now. I have asked th hubby to look at it but he still hasnt.
    • I have done what I can with it but I dont know much about that kind of stuff. I have checked the hoses and they seem to be fine and I know the general area it is leaking from but thats about all I can do :(
    • I am debating on whether a repairman and repairs will be worth it or if its just time for a new one.
    • I am up way past my bedtime. I cant sleep! Doing laundry. Yuck. The whole not being able to sleep may be my own doing. I had a 3 hour nap in the middle of the day :)
    • My January goal of making my bed every day has had some success but not as much as I wanted. The bed gets made almost everyday but most days not until late afternoon.
    • I know what February's goal will be. I am going to try to get rid of my ponytail...well for most days...

I have removed most of my links on the side. Not because I dont love them but because they are either private or no longer there.

    Blah...

    • I have been finding harder to get myself to post anything lately.
    • My sister went to trial last week. Things went really well. Reading the comments on the news though is never a good idea. Some broke my heart and others just really piss me off.
    • We have some friends that just got married not even a month ago. They are having problems already. Big ones. I can deal with it but last night it affected my kids. I have had enough.
    • I hate McDonald's toys. I hate putting teeny weeny little stickers on. I hate looking for an hour because they have shot part of it and cant find it but they just have to have it. The kids love them so I guess I will have to deal with it.
    • Supper excited about lunch Wednesday. :)
    • My kiddo started the dishwasher for me the other day. He closed my phone charger in it. It doesnt work any more :( I have been using his phone.
    • Is 10 to early to start drinking? I mean its after noon somewhere right?
    • I love that my kids let me sleep late now :) They can make their own bowl of cereal and finally understand they can turn on the TV without me but I truly miss pulling one in bed with me when he comes in too early :A(

    Life and Stuff :)

    • Ok so basketball hasnt been the best season. The oldest one still hasnt won a game yet :( The other ones well they have won the last two :) One doesnt even want to play because "he never gets to play." I do have to agree though. Their coach while good with plays, 3 players always stay in only leaving 2 spots to switch others in and out.
    • Went to a bday party at chuck e cheese this weekend. It was surprisingly fun :) The little ones at just big enough to start doing some of it on their own and I got to play the ones that give lots of tickets so they would get to pick prizes to!
    • I tried to make oatmeal...I added to much water....yuck!
    • I am so excited. All my tv shows are starting back up :) We record them and watch them without commercials. So much better that way and we watch them on our own time. I love the DVR.
    • I am thinking about asking a few bloggers that I cant read their blogs any more if they want to get together for lunch one day next week.
    • My youngest child no longer wants to go to school. He is fine when he gets there but getting him in bed so he will be up in the morning is almost impossible. And dont even mention school in the morning or he isnt putting anything on.
    • I need some ideas for helping him enjoy homework and school work. If you have any send them my way.
    • We have been hanging out with some friends lately. Its gotten to the point when they dont show up I am asking where they are and why they didnt come over.
    • I have been working a little more too :) Its good for me.
    • I have a random question too. What does everyone do with their tax return? Is it big or small? We spend it on bills usually. I know some that put with hold the minimum (and owe) and some that withhold the max (for a big return)

    Girls Night!

    • We had a girls night! Oh my goodness was it fun!
    • We went to a place call A Piece of Work. They teach you how to paint. Check out their calendar. I cant wait to go back :)
    • Yep I painted that :) It was easier than I thought but still kinda hard for me. As you can see its cute but not great.
    • A group of 11 of us went. We drank, snacked, painted, and laughed our butts off.
    • My cousins painting is great. Her lips are all messed up and one of her eyes are huge. I mean huge. And she painted the what was supposed to be on the inside of the eye outside :) When she showed us we laughed so hard the rest of the class came to see what we were laughing at. She is a good sport and shared.
    • If you want to see more pics they took some and they are here. The one we did was called Mimi.
    • It is definitely something I want to go back and do again.
    • One of the best things about this place is they are willing to help if you need it and they allow for you to change the picture any way you wish. One guy didnt even do that painting he did his own thing.
    • We have decided we are going to have a girls night at least once a month. It was well worth it.
    • Did forget to say I had a blast?

    :(

I am sad to see what I consider a blogging friend go. I do understand her leaving though. This has affected her children and husband and that is just not acceptable. I do hope that things get better. The person doing all this should take a look at their own self. Arent you the gossip now? Should someone attack you? I find myself hoping that someone will on one hand and not on the other. Showing the world that one person is a gossip is no excuse for an attack on an entire family. It is a shame someone has twisted words into something they are not. I hope that you have achieved what you were after. I hope that you are now satisfied and can stop your hatred.

    Man....

Everyone is going to invited readers only. I cant see some of my favorite blogs any more : ( Why does it make me sign in everytime I got to the web page? Even if I am already signed into blogger/google.

    Hehe...

I just realized my back ground says Happy Thanksgiving....I think its time for me to look for a new one :)

I have had a lot on my mind lately just not the urge to post anything :/
    • We had a great holiday. Christmas seemed to go on forever. That could be because we go so many places. This year it started and ended in the same place (Grandma's house) but it was nice. I got to see my family and spend lots of time with my children and hubby.
    • They are all back to school and work now. I enjoy my peace and quiet for about an hour or so in the mornings before I start missing them.
    • New years was fun. Not much drinking on my part or the hubby either. Thats new for me :) First time in about 5 years he has been awake when the ball drops. Had the kids too. We spent the evening with my SIL and family at the hubby's aunts. Played poker and LRC (or RCL). We came out a dollar ahead. My only complaint was the hubby thought it was more important to send a text than to kiss me :/ Boy did he get.
    • I cant believe 2010 has come and gone already. I am make a resolutions list this year. I have never bothered before because it always seems so unrealistic to make a list of things you want to change just because its a new year. I am going for simple :) The first one is to make my bed everyday (I got out of the habit and now hardly ever do). I started this one the week before the new year though and it seems to be going good. They say if you do something 21 time in a row it becomes a habit..( I hope they are right). When I get through this one I will let you know about the next. They will all be habit forming things that will improve my life in some small way. Going to try for one a month.
    • My car (well minivan) will be paid for by the end of April. (hopefully sooner) My hubby wants to get a new one right away. Me not so much. I would rather not have a car payment for a year or so. I might have him talked into it. It sure would be nice not to have to worry about it and also give us a bigger down payment.
    • He wants a suburban. Eeeek. I can barely drive the minivan I dont want something that big.
    • My youngest bought himself a pillow pet with some of his Christmas money. I had to make myself let him get one because I thought for sure that would be a waste of money. Man does he love that thing. He even gave him a name and wants to take him everywhere.
    • The kids got enough Nerf guns to have a war. I keep finding darts everywhere. There were about 10 in the tree when I took it down. The kids were glad to have them back.

Ok I am rambling now so off I go. I will try to write some of the crap that keeps racing through my head down before I forget it all again. Wishing you all a wonderful, peaceful, and joyous Year!

    Family :)

My Dad is coming to town tomorrow! I am super excited to see him. He lived so far away when I was growing up I didnt see him but 3-4 times a year. As I got older it was even less. Then a few years ago he moved closer but I still only saw him every now and then. :( I now regret that as he has moved away again. Though I cant change the past I am going to try to see him as much as possible while he is here and hopefully get to go see him some as well. (Sometimes thats hard due to the kids and school and sports and the hubbys work)

    ***Edit***
I got to see my Dad today :) Even it it was only for a few hours it was good to see him. I hope there will be time for another visit before he goes back.

    Merry Christmas!

I know its a little late but I was spending time with my family :) I hope you all had a wonderful fun filled Christmas.

This Christmas we did things a little different than usual. We opened our family Christmas at home on Christmas Eve instead of taking it to my moms. I hate to say it but it was nice. We managed to get through the holiday without fighting once. I didnt feel rushed to put everything away or to get anywhere. The kids got to play with their presents and we didnt need 2 cars to pack everything in (before you think omg those kids are spoiled remember that there are 7 of us and presents from Santa, Grandparents, aunts and uncles from both sides of the family and us are alot and some are really big).

The kids this year didnt seem to have as much as the years before but seemed to enjoy it more. I liked it. 4 gifts from us which included clothes, books, a small toy and a game or movie to share with the family. The older kids got one gift from Santa - a desk, remote control car, and a magic set. The younger ones got 2(because they were easier for Santa to make)-- both got a scooter, and then a trio building set (kinda like legos but better ...I think) and a play dough set. From others they got more games, books and a few small toys. Now all we need is a new book shelf for the games and books. I think thats not a bad complaint to have. :) I by far think this is the best Christmas of my adult life.

Oh and if you are wondering what I got for Christmas, I got a:
    • Framed picture of the family pictures we took over the summer for my Mom.---its already on the wall and it usually take forever for me to hang pictures!
    • picture frame mobile
    • bedding
    • a new monitor- I had to have one and it seemed practical.
    • headset- repeat from above
    • and the expansion to the video game I play.

Yep I had a great Christmas too :)

    Life and Stuff...

    • I went ice skating with the family today! I only fell once but it was a good one :( I was going to post a pic of my knee and the nice little knot and bruise it left but I noticed it winter and I haven't shaved in a day or two ...
    • My kiddo fell too. Poor thing.
    • The little ones did much better this year than last. (This was their Christmas present from my uncle)
    • They also asked to go to his house after. Of course he said yes :)
    • Last week was the end of school for this year. Our school got to have Christmas parties while the others had holiday parties. I love that about small town schools.
    • I miss the first one though. I swear the note said both parties started at 10. I was wrong. One was at 9 and the other at 930. Totally missed it. I felt really really bad. :(
    • This year has been impossible to buy presents for my kids. Either I cant find something they would like or it just looks like crap (they don't make things like they used to). It didn't help that we said no electronics this year.
    • We ordered some of it online. I was a little worried about it getting here on time because I did the free shipping thing. It would have been another $40 to upgrade the shipping and that would have made the present not worth the price. It was ok because I got it today :)
    • The hubby is sick :( Just in time for Christmas. I asked him if I was going to have to go to his family by myself with the kids. He said he would tell me when it got here. I wont be happy. Maybe we could just not go :)
    • I have been wearing my hair down rather than the normal pony tail for me.
    • I haven't really had a hair style since high school (unless you call short then long then short all one length a style). I want something cute but easy to take care of. I just cant decide and when I do I am too chicken to do it :/
    • I have started my New Years resolution list already. I am trying to keep it simple and stuff that I will follow through with. The hair is on it. Anyone know a really good hairdresser that I can trust to say do something cute?

    Missing a Blog..

I was sad to see my favorite blog to read is not up right now. I hope its not for long though because I really enjoyed it. Don't let her bully you. She may be playing dirty but don't let her get away with that. Call her out on what she has done. There is no excuse for what she did.

    ***Edit****
I am still mad/upset about something that happened over a blog and personal thoughts and feelings. I am sad for the family going through it (because its no longer just on the blog), I am mad at the woman/man doing it, and dumb founded as to how it could be taken so far.
I don't understand how one could be so mad about not being able to be heard (rude or not) and then turn around and do the same thing to others. I was checking in on it and I gave my opinion but was ignored. I wont any more. I wont give you the satisfaction of thinking your opinion maters. I know the friend I have made through a blog is a good person. I wont listen (read) about how you twist her words/ actions. She was nothing but concerned and caring.

    ***Edit #2****
I wish people would just let this go and move on. It pisses me off every time I think about it (and it has nothing to do with me!). GRRRRRR. I think what pisses me off so much is that I cant do anything to help the situation.

    Its been a while...

    • Ok so I have been really busy.
    • I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
    • I did. Had a quiet lunch with my Mom, Step Dad and sister. After we sat around and talked. It was really nice.
    • My husband has taken up golf. Which is fine but he wants to go all the time.
    • He keeps adding things to his Christmas list. He is driving me crazy because he wants to go buy everything right now.
    • With him I have to wait until last minute because if he knows its in the house he will go find it.
    • We are starting Christmas shopping this week. I still dont really know what I want to get my kids.
    • Football is officially over for us. We had our end of season party yesterday.
    • It was fun. The coaches loved their gifts. We got them a book. One of the players mothers took picture all year long and put it together for us. It was awesome!
    • She also made a slide show for us. She made my life much easier :)
    • When I was talking about the coaches I almost cried. I am going to miss peewee. This was the boys last year.
    • Some other stuff has been going on in life too but well it sounds like bitching alot or its really depressing so that boring ol stuff I will keep to myself because I am in a better mood for now.
    • Happy days :)

    Monday, November 22, 2010

This weekend was good : )

    • We had company come in on Thursday.
    • Nice people. We didnt do a whole lot due to the time constraints of school pick up but we had a good time.
    • I may need a liver transplant after this weekend.
    • Bowling on Friday. Man I suck! It was a blast though. We are going to have to do it again sometime soon.
    • Saturday during the day was all about the boys and football. They won!
    • Football is finally over !!!!
    • Came in 3rd for the season.
    • Their coach bought himself what we planned for a gift for him. Now I have no clue. Any ideas for a gift for a great man that has been great in not only teaching my children about football but also about responsibility, respect, manners, and many other things?
    • The night consisted of lots of drinking. I may or may not have surprised all the boys coaches (they have become friends).
    • Sunday was beautiful. I cant believe how nice it has been. I loved it. We had a cookout. This time the kids got to come :) (they were sent away for all the other fun)
    • The food was good, the beer was cold, and the company was great. I couldnt have asked for a better afternoon.
    • I just got the kids Christmas list.
    • One of them looks almost like the one from last year only with a few book titles changed. Sigh. We already bought him that stuff and he didnt use it.
    • The little ones lists are a mess. They just run around looking at the stuff they already have and if they like it then they add it to their list. Not very helpful.
    • One wants zebra print socks, or the bright green, pink , purple or blue ones. Have I mentioned that I have all boys. :)
    • The other one is all about video games.

    Monday, November 15, 2010

    Stuff...

    • The boys football game didnt go so well.
    • One of their players got hurt a week ago. Never went to the doc. After 3 more games he finally had it checked out. He has a hairline fracture. :(
    • I was lazy all weekend. :) The only thing I really did was the one football game.
    • We had a roast tonight for dinner. I was thinking it wouldnt turn out so great by the stuff it said to put in it.
    • It was AWESOME! Even the kids liked it and they dont usually like roast.
    • We record alot of TV now. If its a show I like I just set the thing to record whenever a new one comes on. I love that feature.
    • In the evenings once the kids are in bed the hubby and I usually watch one or two shows and we skip all the commercials. Its really nice because it only takes about half the time.
    • We are having company next weekend. I am both excited and blah about it.
    • Cleaning every inch, nook and cranny in the house is a pain in the arse and it still never looks clean enough for company. Not to mention that as soon as the kids walk through the door it looks as if a tornado has come right through the middle of the house.
    • Excited because we get to meet some friends we have never met in person before.
    • I actually have stuff that I want to put on my Christmas list this year :) My parents will be happy about that. The hubby too!
    • I cant believe that Thanksgiving is almost here :) Its my favorite holiday.
    • You get to enjoy family and friends without all the commercialized and gift giving of Christmas.
    • Well usually you get to spend it with family. My family this year has decided not to do anything together. Just do whatever you want.
    • I think I want to show up at my Moms and have Thanksgiving dinner with my family...or we could just go to the SIL's house a day early.

    Life...

    • I am doing better. Not great. But better.
    • I am getting sick though :(
    • I have football over load.
    • The boys had two extra games this week during the week.
    • It was to see if they were going to get to play in the play offs.
    • They are. They played great and if they keep playing the way they did this week they have a good chance to win the Super Bowl!
    • That is it for that cause I am done with football (well not really but I wish I were)
    • Basketball started. The oldest had his first game ever tonight. They lost but he didnt do bad. He is way too short though. Everyone else was about a foot taller than him.
    • Did I mention that I am getting sick...yuck.
    • Thats all. Short and sweet today.

    Life and stuff...part 2 : Subbing

I have been subbing as much as I can stand. I subbed half a day on Monday and then again for the same teacher on Friday. Her class has some special students in it. On Monday I had a problem with one student. One that I didnt know had any problems or special needs. She refused to talk to me at all, wouldnt do what I asked her to do, was throwing things at other students, and wouldnt put her stuff up the it was supposed to be. This girl would not even acknowledge that I was talking to her. End the end another aide told her she needed to do it correctly and the girl slammed her locker and stood there with her arms crossed. Another teacher went and got a counselor for me. I never raised my voice, I wasnt frustrated with her, and thought I had handled her fairly well. I guess not because I got a note from the teacher on Friday. "Backing them into a corner like Monday will cause problems." I was pissed, almost enough to ask for a new sub for the day. I didnt back that girl in a corner. She was rude and disrespectful and not doing what she was supposed to be doing. I was going to let her take her stuff home like it was because I know if my kids had brought home a folder like that they would have been in trouble. All that being said, Friday went pretty well but I still wont be subbing for her ever again.

    Life and Stuff.....

**Edit** Its been so long that I almost feel like I have fallen off the face of the earth.

Its been a while. I have been busy. Since I last posted a lot has happen sports wise..so I will start with those thoughts.

    • The Rangers lost the World Series. Either they played awful or the Giants are way better. I dont really keep up with baseball to much any more.
    • I tried for years to get my hubby to go to a baseball game with me and he wouldnt have anything to do with them. He wasnt even remotely interested.
    • He went to 2 championship games.
    • We will be going to a few regular season games next year. :)
    • The Cowboys really suck. Thats all I have to say about them.
    • My oldest son is done with football. Last week was his last game. It was cold and wet. Not raining the whole time just drizzling enough to keep you wet. They won. It was a great way to end Middle School football for him :)
    • He was pissed at me when I didnt let him stay to watch the other game like I had planned. It hadnt rained all day when I planned that. It pored on the game after his. I was glad I didnt let him stay he would have been sick after playing in the rain when it was so cold out.
    • PeeWee football. Well I have lots to say about this. Maybe in another post?
    • or not...We have to play 2 extra games this week to see who is going to be in the play offs. :(
    • We lost on Saturday to an incomplete pass. I was so mad. The call was made and we have to live with it and I can handle that but was got me so mad was to watch the other teams coach turn around and ask if he was in get the answer no and the smile and shrug about it and laugh. That was about all I could take...I yelled at him. He didnt even know :( As I took off yelling my MIL stopped me.
    • That was a good thing the hubby was already pissed at the other coach for telling the team he wanted the QB on his back every play with or without the ball. That my friends is bad coaching.....have I mentioned that the QB is one of my sons. Yep one pissed off hubby.

Ok thats all the sports stuff for now.
